Which is more often used by children these days? Calling their parents mum & dad or mama & papa? Which do you think is better?

My son is 8 years old and has about 6 stuffed animals that he sleeps with every night. Some he has won playing the claw machine at the store, another he made at Build-A-Bear several years ago, etc. I don't think it's an issue but my husband says an 8 year old boy is too old to be sleeping with anything. He just doesn't think that he's tough enough in general and this is probably one of the things that bothers him the most. Our son plays baseball and basketball, loves to roughhouse, get dirty, play videogames, do karate and wrestle but he is also very loving, loves to sing and play music and yes he loves his stuffed animals. I think it's a good thing that he's a combination of rough and tumble and loving and sweet but my husband feels that he is too different from other boys his age and just isn't "boy" enough. I just want to get some perspective to see if maybe I am the one that is wrong. I just don't think that every boy has to be tough as nails to be a healthy, normal boy.

I am 29 years old I have a way to keep getting better in life. I met the love of my life and I am moving in with him. I was pregnant when I moved back in with my mom and dad. They helped out through it all. I show gratitude and appreciation but now it is time I moved on with my own life. I didn't let them meet the b/f yet because he is out of town on his own family matters. Can't exactly have them meet him when he is gone. His grandfather is dying soon and they show no regaurd to the fact that it is out of state. I am for sure that I am going to make my life easier when I am able to have someone I love and trust watch my 6 month old while I have to work. I can't do that here because my parents work 10 to 12 hours a day and that gives me little to no time to do anything and be home to babysit the other two children of 5 year and 10 months old. They pretty much consume all of my time 5 days a week for 10 hours a day and on top of that it frees me up to take online college courses. Help?

I have always wanted to experience the wonderful experience of having a child of my own with the woman of my life filled with unconditiounal love. All through my life I have been told that I would never be able to have children beause something that happened when I was a child. I've never tested myself and I have never had any experiences where any woman I have been with have told me that they believed we might be having a child. To know what it would be like to be a father of my own child brings tears to my eyes and aches my heart. I know adopting would help a child who needs a father but in my heart doesn't feel the same as blood relation which is what I want to feel deeply. I am 46 years old and pray for a miracle that I may be able to have this one wish before my time should come before my I return to home. I believe all things happen for a reason but do not understand why it is this was not a part of my life here. I'd like to hear your story of feelings of your loss in life.

I'll going to move to my new house. I have 1 year old daughter. My wife and I are buzy person. Working 9 to 5 monday till friday. We've a nany but we don't trust her a lot to take care my children because she don't have an experience to take care a kid before. Now we still staying with my parents. Everyday her granma watch her with her nany. We are waiting for a second child soon. Can you give the way out? I'll be appreciate it.

I love my sister in law, my bro's wife,. but she buys everything I buy it is frustrating. If we shop together she wil later go back and buy the same exact outfitShe does this everything even household items,.She used to do this while we shopping together but I talked to her about it and now she just waits until later to buy it. We have ended up wearing the same outfit on the same day to the same function. I am tired of this. I tried everything to stop this. We do not shop together anymore. If she cant find the same outfir she will get the next best thing Help.

and i dont just mean "those " kind of activities. i mean like having drinks with friends and going out with friends and sitting around discussing adult things, for gods sake !! playing back gammon or chess. i mean i like video games to but come on , every night?? we have been married for 21 years and have 4 kids youngest being 7 and i think he has the mentality of a 9 year old( my hubby not my son, my son is normal for his age!)HELP!! men especially, cuz you live in the mind of a man!!hahaha!

i've been addicted to cocaine for 3 years but i am going into detox/rehab unit in 3 weeks.At the minute i keep my stash in my athletes foot powder bottle at home.nobody else knows.Whilst i was at work today my father in law came round to see my wife,moaning about his sore feet.she only went and gave him my "powder" two bloody grands worth!! my councillor and doc. have told me not to stop using suddenly as it is dangerous.i am mowing his lawn at his house on sunday . should i sneakily try to find it to take it back? to make things worse on the powder bottle it says "USE SPARINGLY"
