I love my sister in law, my bro's wife,. but she buys everything I buy it is frustrating. If we shop together she wil later go back and buy the same exact outfitShe does this everything even household items,.She used to do this while we shopping together but I talked to her about it and now she just waits until later to buy it. We have ended up wearing the same outfit on the same day to the same function. I am tired of this. I tried everything to stop this. We do not shop together anymore. If she cant find the same outfir she will get the next best thing Help.

How flattering for you. You must have really great taste and she has no idea how to shop. Take her shopping one day just for her. Tell her you are going to help her pick out some outfits that suit her perfectly. It will be her day. Then you go shop another day and buy something else.

It maybe annoying but you are adults, not highschool girls. So what if you wear the same outfit? It should be a compliment. Theres not much you can do without hurting your relationship with her or your brother (because hed take her side) Suck it up... and just see it as you must be some kind of trend setter.

When the two of you were shopping, did you ever try to help her find outfits that really flattered her? I think if you did that, she might see that what looks good on her and what looks good on you are two separate things? As it is, it sounds like she isn't sure what to buy, but admires you and your taste, and has decided to emulate you.
Try to help her develop her own style.

Take it as a compliment, she wants to be like you. Otherwise, take her shopping and buy hideous outfits. Then just return them and laugh at her when she buys and wears them later.

life is too short to worry about stuff like this or to create stress within your family -- just take it as a constant reminder of wat great taste you have, and see it as your way of helping your brother (who you love) by being nice to the woman he loves -- because realli, it is no big deal and everyone else must notice annoying things about this gal, no sense in you also being annoying by pointing it out :)
