Its his choice but he hasn't been fair on you by letting you know this...personally i wouldn't tell unless he started steeling to support his habit or some thing worse...

You need to tell someone so he can get help. If left unchecked his drug use will escalate and I don't know how you feel about having a dead brother, but I'll bet you would miss him if he were gone. In this case you are not a snitch. You would be doing him a favor that I am sure he will thank you for later.

You need to talk to your parents. In order to help your brother, you need to talk to your parents. Think about it this way: if your brother is caught by the police and your parents find out that you knew, what will that do to your relationship with them? Help your brother in the best way possible: tell someone.

In my oppinion,,smoking weed is not so bad,,at least compared to chemical drugs. If he were smoking crack or doing chemicals like meth or something ,,then Id try to talk to him & prob would tell the parents. I strongly beleive that it wouldnt be my bussiness to tell but its quite serious if he has a chemical dependency & would try to get him help.An addict has to want to help him/herself before they can turn their life around.

Tell someone (adult) in your family so you won't look like a tattle=tail. Also, make it someone your brother really respects. Let them have a man to man talk with him. You will be saving his life, honey. Do it or you'll have to get use to visiting him in jail.

You just have to tell your parents. If you don't tell your parents he could actually die from the cigarettes. Also if he smokes around you, you could die from second hand smoke. You definately should tell, smoking is bad.

i would let your parents find out on there own because eventually they will find out keep the closeness that you and your brother has because sometime in life you will need him to fall back on and if he cant trust you he wont help you or tell you anything

Like tell your parent(s) and tell them not to tell your bro that you told. Because you don't wanna lose a sibling...do you? Because if you don't tell then if he died cuz of it it would be on your conciense and you would be like "It's my fault" so just tell. You wouldn't be a tattle tell.

Absolutely say something to your parents. You are talking about
someone that you love. Intervene my dear, help him out.
Be the sister he knows and loves.
Best to you on this.

You need to let your parents know. You're not doing your brother any favors by remaining silent. He knows what he's doing isn't right, you know it, and you know he can do himself serious harm. Your parents need to know so they can get him help if he needs it.
Good luck.
