When its about appearence..most guys go for a good body and dont care much about faces (this is what most of my friends do). Im one of the few that doesnt really care about bodys but like a cute face, and that doesnt make sense to me, a face in unique for the person and bodys... not really.

I am good friends with an ex-colleague and he's a very sensitive and caring man, but being an alcoholic he annoys me by turning up at my house uninvited and if I see him on an evening he's already drunk and behaves stupidly and suggestively. I'd keep him as a friend but he wants more, and he gets touchy and sulky if I reject his affection. How should I handle this?

Everybody tells me I should get out more and mix with ppl my own age People my age I find very immature and they either have kids or are married and they do not have time for me. I prefer older more mature and sensible people and like to mix with these. I also like to mix in a professional yet fun setting like work. Am I strange? People say I am no fun but I do not want them to think I am silly or that I am not mature.Friday and Saturday nights or any nights I like to curl up with my cat and watch tv or get on the pc and have fun.In the day time I like to shop with my mom and have coffee with her. I also like to cook. I am not into the club or pub scene or wild parties.People tell me to grow up and get out. I have had many bad experiences mixing with young people, including them abandoing me and me having to walk home alone and being harrassed by men. I have been grabbed while I went out with girl friends and I have been almost raped. I know what could happen and I choose quiet life

i guess i have a way with ppl. im not very popular or social, im the quite type, who lvoes to write. i keep many things to myself...
i noticed recently that ppl tend to open up towards me and tell me all these personal details when i only considered them a distant friend. ppl tend to open up towards me and i have no clue how i get them to do that. i always end up building close personal friendships without trying to.
im wondering if some1 can shed light on this if you know some1 who you notice many ppl feel open towards. why are ppl so open towards me? (sometimes i regret knowing their personal issues, other times its nice)...

I had a girlfriend that died from a rare form of cancer last year. Before she died, she was in terrible pain, so to make her feel better, I told her I would never date another. Well, two months ago, a new girls was hired at the warehouse where I work. We hit is off right away, so I asked her out. When I got home that night, the photo of me and my dead ex was on the floor broken. The next time we get together, she comes over and we are about to have sex, when this girl becomes real sick, I had to drive her to the hospital. They can't find nothing wrong with her so they send her home. We go out again, only this time she is driving and we get hit by a hit and run driver, my date gets a broken arm and leg......I think my ex is haunting us.....Could it be true?

I'm am 14 years old and i live with my parents and my sister. My dad hits me. Not like discipline hitting but abusively. Once he cornered me and started kicking me. He punches my head leaving me with bumps and headaches. My mom does the same thing. My sister is allowed to hit me and my parents dont care. She punches me in the nose and is always slapping me around. a lot of my family has seen it. Including my older sister, and her kids. I'm scared of living hhere because it keeps getting worst.

Ok, I honestly need help with this,
1. On my Birthday my parents are gonna be gone plus we're going back to school that day, how do I make my Birthday still fun?
2. My parents are thinking of letting me have a birthday party, I don't know what to do though.
My parents are pretty cheap so they probably won't do something too expensive, but I really want to go somewhere. I probably won't invite too many people, I live in Auburn, AL. The people I'm inviting are pretty girly and love fashion and style. My BFF just had one where we all got manipedi's, so we can't do that, any ideas? I realized this after a dream I had. 1st guy was during my 2nd year in college, this guy is during my 2nd year in grad school. I fell pretty hard for both. Both are kinda secretive, mysterious, very nice guys with a bit of an edge. Both were very sweet to me, & did little things for me (i.e. cooked me dinner, went out of their way to come see me, spooned w/ me) & really seemed quite attracted to me. But then, both said they didn't like me under the false pretense of us being "good friends," even though it really felt like they did. Both were attracted to a "pretty, snobby girl." The first 1 literally disappeared (moved away) a few months after the whole thing w/ me. I don't know how the 2nd 1 will end yet. Both of their names even started w/ R. I haven't felt quite as strongly about anyone else as them.
Is this just coincidence? I don't want to fall into this trap. I want to do something dif this time but I don't get how he can seem so into me & then not be? Am I replaying my life...

Im going through hell right now because my wife just told me she doesnt want to work things out in our marriage. She didnt want to go to counseling at all. We just bought a new car 2 weeks ago and it was all good. The I love you babe and all that.. now when i ask her if she in love with me she says no. we have 2 young kids my son 6 , and my daughter 2. we split before and we got back together agin to make it work. I just feel like she gave up on our family....she has been clubbing really hard with her friends. maybe she misses the single life but damn ya know. Im just devestated , and feel lost. So me and my boyfriend were doing amazing till he started hitting on other girls. And I started getting mad at him and he would just say Oh Jess It's no Big deal I don't love them I love you!
