I had a girlfriend that died from a rare form of cancer last year. Before she died, she was in terrible pain, so to make her feel better, I told her I would never date another. Well, two months ago, a new girls was hired at the warehouse where I work. We hit is off right away, so I asked her out. When I got home that night, the photo of me and my dead ex was on the floor broken. The next time we get together, she comes over and we are about to have sex, when this girl becomes real sick, I had to drive her to the hospital. They can't find nothing wrong with her so they send her home. We go out again, only this time she is driving and we get hit by a hit and run driver, my date gets a broken arm and leg......I think my ex is haunting us.....Could it be true?

We didn't live together, but slept together. It's weird as I typed the first part of this, a big branch fell and hit the roof as soon as I submitted it......

Yes, she is either haunting you or your dead girlfriend is reincarnated into this new girl at work. And now she knows you have broken your promise to her.

Well, if she is haunting you, sit down and have a heart to heart talk with her. Tell her you miss her and that while you made that promise, you can't go through life without dating (unless you are 80 - doesn't sound like it though).

I'm really not kidding here. While I really don't believe in hauntings, I don't think talking it out is a bad thing.

You are pathetic. When someone dies, that person's spirit remains the same age. You broke your promise and now she will make sure you never date another girl.

You are cursed and guess what, you cursed yourself when you made that promise. You'll never date a girl again without worring about what will happen. She will always be there for you.

Good luck : ]

I beleive it is a possibility. I don't think you should've made up an implausible lie to a dying person. Personally, I would pray to your ex, explain the situation honestly, and ask her for forgiveness because you just want to get on with your life and have happyness now.

What you need to do is date someone you really hate. If your dead ex is a ghost and vindictive, the person you really hate will get the wrath and you will know that you are being haunted.

Anything is possible. It is probally just a load of weird coinstedences. And it might all be in your head. If you really loved your ex and now like some one else you could just be feeling guilty.

those events could just as well be (a rapid sequence of) a coincidence. however, i do think that you feel guilty because you feel bad about not following through with what you had said to your former girlfriend. maybe you should find some closure and come to terms with that.
