So many women ask me when I'll get married, and why am I NOT married so I decided to get a cute pink t-shirt that says in chocolate brown:

" UNAVAILABLE PROUD OLD MAID."

That way no one can bother or feel pity for me.

It just bothers me they say "oh how pretty you are and what a nice personality you have. how come you don't get married what's the problem?"

When they offered for me and my boyfiend to stay with them it acually sounded like they were trying to help, but now they smoke in the house, and party at least 3 times a week till 4 or 5 in the morning... im completely broke and at 8 monthes nobody wants to hire me, and i can't get any help from the state untill im 9 monthes, my boyfriend is working kinda sorta, and he gives them all the money he has, which just keeps us living with them, and everyday it gets worse and we just keep going further in debt with his family, im very thankful that they let us stay for as long as they have but i just can't take it anymore. please help... i've tried everything that i can think of :(

Thinking about divorcing my husband b/c I am no longer in love with him but I am scared that I will live the rest of my life, or at least the better part of near future alone. I have 3 youngs kids and they are a handful but I am very intelligent, outgoing and attractive, some might even say very beautiful. Am I setting myself up for disaster/heartache?

My father and I aren't that close...so I try and call him to spend some time together but he is so wrapped up in his other family that he doesnt have time for me or my sisters. I'm so tired of trying but he is my dad, the only one I have. I have tried to talk to him but he is who he is. Any suggestions?

Hi, my ex and I who went out for 4 years broke up 4 months ago, and I haven't called him since b/c I've been trying to move on. I checked my phone this morning and noticed that i called him. Yesterday while i was with my mom, I accidentally called him when I sat on my phone and it lasted 1min44secs. I think it went straight to voicemail and my conversation with my mom and I might have been recorded in there and he most likely didn't even pick up. I have such bad luck. I had wanted to send him a xmas greeting (gift/card) too but now after this accidental phone call, he might think that my xmas greeting is a tactic to try to get him back even though I plan to write "i wish you luck in your future endeavors." What should I do? Should I text him "sorry i checked my phone and saw that it accidentally called ur #. Think i sat on it and 4got to keylock. Just letting u kno it was an accident and hope it didn't interrupt anything- take care"

He's 8 and she's 6. Now I think it's weird cause I've seen him playing with his sister slapping her on the bottom and stuff like that, also they both sleep in their underwear. (I'm not their Dad, but I live with their Mom). Also when we mentioned that he should sleep in his own bed he 'flipped out' went into tears and screaming and what not!

I wish I could explain more, but I just get a weird feeling about it and I don't know how to broach the subject to their mother.

She's new to the school and has 1 friend.

im 24, my little sister, 12, is getting out of hand. my parents provide her with the best homelife possible. she has a cellphone, lots of friends, things that i could only have dreamed of when i was 12. but for some reason she feels life at home is horrible. when she disrespects my parents with certain things she says, they ground her by taking her phone away or wont let her go to certain events, as i think they rightfully should. they're raising her the same way they raised me and my other sister and we both turned out to be very fine respectable adults. but now my little sister feels like she would rather live somewhere else, threatens to talk to counselors at school and tell them how bad life is at home so they can take her away, and has written down that she would rather die than be around my mom. she is making my mom cry. ive never heard my mom cry for anything. and her grades are starting to slip and thinks we expect her to be perfect. any advice? please help. please

How do I get rid of a telephone stalker. He keeps calling me and texting me. I have asked him to lose my number, I have ignored the calls/messages for weeks but he is still doing it. I refuse to change my number because so many family and friends have this number and i don't have all of their numbers to contact them if I do. Plus, I am afraid that if I change the number he will end up coming to find me in person once he realize that he can't call me anymore. HELP!

My bf of 2.5 months broke up with me today, and I still want to be with him.
He broke up with me because some of his friends said that I never trusted him.
I told him that I did. But he said that if I did than I would not care what other people say. The thing is that I don't care what people say, I am just tired of people lying to me about everything.

Now we are trying to work things out and get back together.

the problem is
that when you look like Elvis [haha] and your tall
your kinda intimidating
there no reason besides me fancying him that i would go up to him and speak about crap.
He knows i like him anyway.
since he found out through friends and what-not I think he's been trying to talk to me. He seems to change position when I'm near or mess with his hair.
But lets get this straight. I've never talked to him because i wouldn't know what to say.

Now remember people this is a school environment and its hard to talk to people outside your peer groups

I've been in a relationship for about a month with an older man. I have had an eating disrder on and off over the past 10 years which he knows about. recently he said not to lose any more weight as he was worried it would "affect his libido"
A week ago he wanted me to participate in a sex act I wasn't comfortable with and when I said I couod not do it as he may like it but I cettainly would not, he replied that despite me not liking it he would have. In other words that relationships are about doing things to satisfy your partner even when we don't want to... Also a close relation of his died from an illness and I know that a part of him sees my eating disorder as self-inflicted
Aside from this we get on really well and have so much in common and he is actually quite sweet other than these comments. What would you do?

"4 real you're only 16, but I enjoy talking to you." He is older than me and this was in response to when I mentioned that his mom thinks I like him. It seemed to me that he liked me too until he said that. Now I don't think that he does in that way. We have been friends for a really long time so if he doesn't like me he could just say it straight up. He has known since the day we met (13 years ago) the differences in our ages. He knows that I am 16. He is 19. I wasn't even hitting on him either....I was just telling him what someone said. I told him that it doesn't mean I never could like him but just that it takes time and she was wrong about it right now. I do like him but I wasn't hitting on him when this happened. I know he is too old for me. At least that is the way he came off towards me. He is sweet to me. He calls me baby girl, pretty lady, lovely lady, etc. He has told me a couple times that I look beautiful. Does this mean that the only problem is age? That he could like me?
