My husband contacted his ex from 20+ years ago by email They have been emailing each other a few times a week for a few months and have gone to lunch together at least once that I know of We got into a big fight and i asked him to leave he refused He says he has cut off all contact with her and he has been very attentive and loving I found some poems and stories he wrote about two people meeting and confessing their love and unhappines being married to someone else but thinking of eachother but not being able to promise anything to eachother now one says even after all these years are you surprised that its me who is secretly crying tears and that he'll just have to settle with being friends one says it was clear the first time i saw you the feeling haven't changed. He said shes happily married u don't have to worry. during an argument he said 1 time lets just wait til the kids are grown well decide what to do then he said he didnt mean it he says he wants to work on it advice?

You cheat on your husband and fall in love with your lover. Your relationship with ur husband had hit a rough patch and things were new and exciting with your lover. You still talk to the lover and sometimes get torn between the two. Husband is obviously more controlling and jealous now. While other one only wants to be intimate. What to do?

When I was little I would dream of a wonderful love, and a big wedding and a big house and a great Life. I learned all the arts of decor and a work in progress to be beautiful on the outside as well as inside, So, what do little girls dream of now?

I have struggled with this for years, granted through my adolescence, and early twenties I did not have the best judgement, but now, i am going to be thirty in a bout a week. I feel like my father is constantly critisizing everything I do, being judgemental...etc. My sister's are always telling me that he tells them how proud he is of me, but he never tells ME....
We didn't have the best relationship, and it ping pongs back and forth. some years I think we are actually getting closer, and then He does or says something to truely offend me and I figure "why bother". I have worked really hard over the last three years to try and build a relationship with him. But I feel like he will never see me as anything more than the 14 year old screw up he knew back then.
Does anyone have any advice on this? I have tried talking, tried explaining, tried letters, etc......
It seems that his biggest problem is that he only knows the details about my life that I share with him. Any ideas?

Me and my boyfriend have been together for almost 3 years and we have a 19 month old son we do plan on being together the rest of our lives but he doesn't ever see us getting married. I am okay with that as long as we our in love and have the commitment. Is this wrong? Should he and I WANT to get married?

Why is it so easy to give the right advice to someone when it comes to dating, but when it comes to you being in the same situation it is so hard to follow your own advice, even when you know it is the right thing to do?

He is bipolar and refuses to take medication. He works partime but does not contribute at all. He spends his money on Starbucks and cigarettes. I won't let him smoke in the house but if I'm gone he does it anyway.

I have caught my man looking at other girls on the internet 3 or 4 times now. Sometimes it's celebrities and sometimes just regular people. He thinks I'm stupid for getting mad about it but I feel like if I was good enough for him he wouldnt want to do that. I'm not big or anything but i did have a baby almost a year ago and I still have stretch marks and a little baby fat left. Should I get so upset about his boob obsession?

My boyfriend and I have been dating for a good long time now. Our relationship started off amazing we got to know each other and we weren't all over each other physical. Our relationship has been great and we have supported each other through many issues. I think we have a strong relationship and that he won't leave me if he gets sex. Recently he and I have gotten increasingly physical. We touch each other alot..down there..we also have cyber and phone sex. We both think we have a mature relationship and we think we're ready for the next step. We love each other very much and he treats me with so much respect. He's truly a dream come true. Do you think we should go ahead and go for a home run?

okay first off- no im not a pervert. im going into highschool this year and i'm curious. because i've heard that most people loose it in highschool, especially after prom.i know its relly private and you definetly don't have to answer. but if you dont want to answer, just move on dont say anything mean please. and if will answer, was it out of love, curiosity, pressure, or something else? do you regret that you did at that time, or do you wish you would have waited? i dont have any sisters, my mom was married when she was 14, and the girls that have had sex at my age, aren't the type that i would take seriosly.not saying that if YOU had sex at 14 you're a bad person, just saying all the girls at my age that have, are very, well, odd. so if you could help me out that'd be great! thanx <3 Dani

I have 3 stepchildren (girl age 12, boy age 10 and boy age 7) who I have been raising as my own for nearly 3 years. I also have 2 biological sons. My step children's mother was missing in action for 2 years (living in a barn with her abusive and alcoholic husband) and just began seeing the kids again in January of this year. We have worked very hard to buy a home and raise the kids responsibly with equal love and support...but the biological mom is very dramatic and a ton of drama has begun to unfold. All of my stepchildren want to live with their Mom now...not a real possibility because of the drinking, drugs, violence and mental abuse. Biomom's husband regularly shouts abuses their Mom in front of my stepchildren and their Mom's mother in law (who lives in the home with their Mom) despises my step children...only showing kindness to her "real" grandchildren. Still, they want to live with her and they have started writing notes to Mom (leaving them out for us to see) that

It's no special holiday, anniversary, or anthing of that sort... I just want to suprise him with something nice. Just something that really says, I thought about you & I love you.
It doesnt neccisarily have to be a gift, maybe it could be an event, or thought, or something to say. I'm not sure.
I'd just like to do something nice, any suggestions?

I kinda want the equivilant of when a guy brings home flowers for his girlfriend for no specific reason. And it makes you really happy & bubbly. I want whatever I do for him, to have the same kind of effect.

ANSWERS FROM GUYS MOST APPRECIATED.

1) can be a gift baught at a store
2) sexual idea
3) evening out/or in, planned with details
4) something homemade
5) etc.

(i've already cooked him a home cooked meal & baught him a t-shirt a few months ago; but i need something more......)

I'd like to find a unique and different way to wrap a wedding present for a couple who is having a wedding this fall. What types of materials would be neat, any decorating ideas that you have done that the bride and groom just loved? Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone,

About a week ago my bf and I broke up. Yesterday I got an e-mail from him asking me to mail him his blue winter jacket he had lent me this past winter. He never asked about it up until now. I e-mail him back asking why would he be needing a jacket in the summer? He responded that he doesn't need it now, but it would be smart to send it to him since I will be moving soon and he doesn't want his jacket to be put away in boxes.

He lives in CT and I live in Jersey. Why would someone remember about a jacket in the middle of the summer??? Besides, he never uses this jacket. A day after we broke up I'd left my favorite skirt and blouse at his home, but I took it as lost item, because I was not going to call him for that.

What does this means? Could this be an excuse to initiate contact with me? Any ideas on how to handle this type of e-mails? I miss him terribly.

Thanks
Luna
