You Oughta Know- Alanis Morrisette
Over You- Chris Daughtry
The Sweet Escape- Gwen Stefani
Behind These Hazel Eyes- Kelly Clarkson
Since U Been Gone- Kelly Clarkson
Breakaway- Kelly Clarkson
Never Again- Kelly Clarkson
Mudshovel- Staind
Just Go- Staind
I love all of these songs... They almost perfectly fit my breakup with my ex and I through at least one stage of recovery. We were together for 2 years, and living together (supposed to get married) when he broke it off and a month later was seeing someone else. Granted he was also very emotionally and verbally abusive so these were mostly my angry songs...

Instead of a sad song how about a brutally honest, good vibe, makes ya laugh about the whole deal song!! " LOVE STINKS!" It's an old 80's song, I wish I could remember who sings it, it's rock-n-roll!! If I find out the bands name, I'll give it to ya!! Call a radio station and ask, they'll know, it was popular in the 80's!! I hope it all works out, you don't need that guy, there's many fish in the sea!!!

The ultimate break up song Sinead O'connor - nothing compares to you. Very sad, love the lyrics such as line
"all the flowers that you planted,
In the back yard,
All died when you went away"
Classic!

forget about sad, play angry i hate you sucka music, it will make you feel better, don't cry, imagine a knife in his chest and you are twisting it around over and over and he is in agonizing pain. Play Ben Folds Give me my money back, it's about a girl but just switch the gender and you'll be fine.
