Yes she has been seeing another guy( one that she had a affair with about 4yrs ago) She says that they are just friends, but it is hard to believe that. We have 4 children between us, plus 2 of my own, and we all live together. I have been away for 7 months for week, only comming home for a week once a month. In July, my last trip home home until now, everything was great. Then 2 weeks later we have a small arguement on the phone, and she tells me she wants a divorce!!!!!
My heart was ripped in two, I left my job and came home the next day. I have been home for a week, and she doesn't want to talk. And when we do, there is always another reason why she wants to get a divorce. SOOOO... I am torn. I love my wife more than anything in the world. If I leave as she suggests, she will loose the house, and vehicles, which will cause me more pain because of our kids. I hurt everyday, just not sure where to turn, or what to do, should I stay, or should I go?????

Focus on what needs to be done. Number one find a job that will allow you to keep the kids. The idea is to get her to pay you child support. Next divide the debt and give her her proper half. Be fair about it. If it your car it your bill if its hers its her bill. House payment is 50/50 until the property is sold. All the credit card debt is 50/50. I would create a schedule of paying it off ASAP. When she realizes that the fresh start she thinks she is going to get is not going to happen and she can't run away from her problems she just might grow up.

The idea is to wake her up from her fantasy idea of having a fresh start. I also lay money that the other guy doesn't want anything to do with your kids, he only wants you wife for "play time" and the kids will drive him crazy. However, I really recommend to take the kids at first and then slam her with child support, but in a nice way because its for the kids. what that does is give her freedom, but at a price she can't afford and then she will have to give up her own freedom to something she can afford. Its all about giving her control over her life and letting her realize she chose the life she has.

This does not mean that she is cheating on you. I am going through the same thing with my husband right now. We got married young b/c we had a baby together, and I don't regret it, because at least I can say that I tried for her sake. I realize now that staying together for the sake of a child is not going to work. We have a loveless marriage and I am tired of trying to create feelings for him that are not there. We have had this discussion twice in the past, and we agreed to try to make it work, but this time we are going to go through with the divorce. He still loves me, but he does not want to be married to someone that does not love him the same way in return.

I have NEVER-NOT ONCE cheated on him!

Your relationship obviously has changed, at least in her eyes.. maybe shes bored, thinks the grass is greener, or maybe she just wants you to show some passion and show her you love her?

If you do love her, spoil her, show her how much she means, remind her why you got together in the first place...

but dont try and hang on too long, you have to know when to let go.

Its always sad when a marriage breaks down, and I hope you get through it as painlessly as possible!

Sounds pretty straight forward to this old guy. She seems to have explained her stance on the relationship in pretty simple terms. If you two cannot work through things and/or attempt to get things back on track either on your own or with the help of a professional relationship counsellor then it may be time to hang up the towel on this relationship. Best of luck to you both in getting things back on track.

Sweet Pea it means she is probably unhappy. You have to figure out how to make her happy again. You have to do special things for her because sometimes woman looses their self esteem and you have to make her feel special all the time. Candles, special gifts and extra attention should do the trick!

Doesnt sound like she was in love with you in the first place. When you truly love someone you dont just fall out of love with them. You love them forever. Maybe you two just werent ment to be. Look around there are women out there.

hey my heart goes out to you, that is truly not a nice thing to hear from any one. maybe she is going threw a mid life crises. there are several possibilities you need to ask her, say to her if you ever truly loved me you will be honest with me and tell me what on earth is going on and what lead you to this decesion.

She has fallen out of love with you. It happens. Do you want to keep it together?? Does she want to try?? You need to sit down and discuss this with her and good luck to you both.

It means that she lost that loving feeling she once had with you, sounds like she grew apart from you.

maybe you havn't been showing her how much you love her, everybody's needs are different and even though you think you are showing her shes not seeing it? talk things out with her and if she still doesn't want to work it out, i'm really sorry.

good luck
