i was going out with a guy for about 8 months, then we decided to be friends cause although it was working in some ways... there were things (cause of him really) that made it really hard and not work very well. he is kind of insecure, and although he knows that i would always be there for him, he finds it hard to talk to me about anything, and completely be himself. i do everything i can to make him feel comfortable, but it seems like he can't, whatever i do...
i just don't want to give up because i do love him so much and i want to be with him, and there are some parts of our relationship that are really great.. i'm not even sure exactly what we are right now.. we went from being 'just friends' to more than friends again (within a few days) then apart again, then the last time i saw him we were definatly not just friends! another thing is he lives quite far away from me so we can't see each other a huge amount, although we are ok with that. i'm just not sure what to do anymore..

I've been dating a guy for 4 months. Out of the blue he tells me that he doesn't have the "spark" for me required to take it to the next level. He still wants to see me though. I never asked to take it to another level. I never even pushed to meet his family or do anything like that.

I am the first girl he dated since his fiance left him pretty much at the alter- she cheated on him and dumped him a month before the wedding.

Other than giving him space, how do I take/handle this???

Preferably within three hours of Orange or LA County. We're not married, just dating, and I'm looking for a retreat to help strengthen the relationship.

He bugs me about going out on nights he has to work. But.. I really like going out with my best friend and her man to the bar on Saturday nights. Is this ok? Its not my fault he has to work. Also, he doesn't get along with my best friend's boyfriend.

like some girls can be shallow bitches but most of the times they're really nice. But when I hang out with male friends they are always talking about either how hot a girl is or how ugly she is.
They treat hot girls really well and not so good looking girls like crap and ignore them..
and one girl I found was kinda cute they were all like that girl has a big nose her nose wasn't that big.

why are alot of guys like that?

I'm seeing someone who is completely into me, no mind games, open communication and trust is slowly but surely growing! Which I will say is GREAT! I don't have to deal with the drama that I'm use to....Now...I'm curious to hear some opinions...do you think that a relationship w/out differences, chanllenges, or ups/downs....is a good one!? Boring?
I've been seeing my guy for about 5 months and not once have we had a dissagreement. We are both very alike! VERY...
opinions!? This is new to me...so just keep an open mind to that.

I love her. With her there is no black and white. There is right and wrong. I just love her.

I have some trouble with that so I made a list. It isn't that long I am just not that smart. I did a bit too much 'partying' in high school. And by high school I mean for the last 15yrs.

Its going on 17 years together and it hasnt always been good. For many years I tried to get out of the marriege. I got married and became a mother at 18. Anyway, 2 years ago, things were bad and I found out that my husband was having an affair. Since then I forgave him and moved on and we have been doing okay. For the past several months, Our sex life has been very routine or nothing. As a result, I became curious and I began a sexual relationship with another man. It lasted for about 4 months. I dont have feelings for the guy but I think that this guy has feelings for me. My husband has no idea that I did anything. The guilt of my cheating is killing me and I want to tell him, but I dont know how. I know that it will hurt him alot and I know that one day I will have to tell him. If you was in my shoes, what would you do? I tried to end the relationship with the other guy. We havent been together for about 6 months. But, just the other day, he called and I saw him and we slept together

If a 12 year old boy commits suicide in his parents home how much would you hold a parent responsible? I know you don't legally and I know you would comfort them and tell them its not their fault but in your own mind what would you really be thinking?

Other than obviously really nice cars like a Mercedes, etc. Do you care if I drive a 99 Hyundai or an 07 Navigator?

I told a guy that I wanted his girlfriend a couple of years ago and had thoughts on hurting him which aren't great things to do. Now they both may have completely given up on me. I understand that I could not have my way. I understand that I have to move on to someone else because the girl is with that guy. I sent MySpace Friends Requests but turned down them and never told me why and never replied my messages. I asked a past question about not wanting them to become friends maybe because it won't be fair that I wanted to be friends so I can be closer to his girl. Maybe they turned me down because I might cause a lot of trouble. The guy and I are more like Shaq and Kobe. All I wanted is to settle those disputes and become friends with both of them. I wish I'd get Dr. Phil to settle it. What can I do to settle it?

I've been dating my best friend for the past 10 months & love him very much. We've been intimate & he sleeps over about once a week. Here's the problem. I feel I'm losing the respect of my teenage children & wanted to earn it back. My beliefs have always been no sex before marriage, yet I adore this man. I told him last weekend he could no longer sleep over & I needed to gain back my self respect & the respect of my children. He seems distant, yet said he understands. Have I goofed?

My husband likes to watch regular porn.I do not approve of him watching porn so i have recently discovered that he does it in the sly. I notice that he opens porn websites almost everyday though I am sure that he doesnt masturbate when I am in the house.

I am sure my husband loves me more than anything in the world so i know my relationship is not in trouble.
Sometimes, we go without having sex for 10 days or more. Infact, this period would perhaps be longer if I did not drop explicit hints for having sex .

We've been married for about a year so I am guessing that boredom must've set in for him cuz I read somewhere that men crave for variety in sex. I am wondering if his not getting aroused by me is a result of watching porn.

Pl let me know ur take on my situation. Is this normal?

My friends have told me that they think I judge people without knowing them and give people dirty looks alot. They don't like that I do it but I don't mind becuase I'm going to a different college as them and want a fresh start to make new friends. I think I am pretty insecure and don't let people get to know me because I think they probably won't. I don't know how I can change my attitude to make loads of new friends when I start college. Any ideas? what do you look for in a friend?

My son is 12. Every winter he gets dry and chapped lips and uses Chapstick or Carmex. At least for the past 2-3 winters. By springtime his lips are fine and he stops using Chapstick. But this year he has been going through a tube of Chapstick or Carmex almost every week. I'm thinking it's a complusive action but I alos wonder if the Carmes and such has chemicals in them that are addictive. Any thoughts, advice, past experience?
