I don't want a wedding dress 2 feet past the floor, or anything too frilly and poofy, as this will be an informal wedding (the guys will be in nice khaki shirts, white button ups and flip flops). I don't want it too look too informal though. Any suggestions???

hello, i hvae a group of very close friends, theres 6 of us, and we want to do tons of stuff together this summer, but we need more ideas.....here is what we already have listed:

-shopping day
-beach day
-lake compounce
-ice cream
- we call oursleves KAJAMA (our initials) and we could have many KAJAMA nights with themes, if you know any...i want to knwo some.....
-camping
-shopping
-dinner & movie night
- have a full week of sleepovrs, every night as someone else house

I am getting married in September this year. we know of a couple who has decided to also get married this month, and there will be lot's more weddings in the near future to attend. I want my wedding to be fun, and unique, different than usual weddings. I was orriginally going to do a slideshow of us growing up, but I see that that is a very common idea, I am looking for ways to entertain my guests, that are not common things you see at weddings..
any ideas would be a great help!

My child father never came to the hospital when he was born, nor did he come to our house, call or write. Now my child is 9 yrs old. During the 9 yrs, I've tried 6 x's to get him involved in his child life & all 6 x's he disappearred. Hurting his child badly. During my child 2nd & 3rd grade he acted out as he left again (5th & 6th x's) and he was very ugly toward his teachers and classmate. 3rd grade was the worse and now he is seeing a counselor.
Now, after 2 yrs father calls me and tell me he want to sign his rights over so he can care for his girlfriend 5 kids. But, he cannot afford a lawyer so he want to resume his visitation. Resume??? He never visited his child according to the court papers. I've always had to pick him up (those 6 x's) just to get hij involved. Now, I don't want him to see his child because it will just hurt him even more and how long will it be before he disappear again. I need to know what some of you people think. I want to protect my child heart.

We are having a wedding abroad with 45guest attending and have made it clear that we DO NOT want any gifts or money.

This is exactly what we have written on our wedding website and invites ''There will be NO GIFT LIST for our wedding. The kindness you have shown by attending our wedding is the best gift we could have asked for and we are extremely grateful for you coming with us to Jamaica to share this special day.
We honestly hope that you have a wonderful time not only on the day of our wedding but your 2week stay at the resort we have chosen and during your trip around this island''

However we are still getting people asking for what gifts they can buy. My cousins joked that we are only saying that because we want money - which is honestly not true!!

Is a gift registry as rude as asking for money!!? We don't want people wasting money on things we won't be using or for people to think we are only saying we don't want gifts because we want money instead.

Any ideas??

I kow this sounds so typical of a question,but i want some feedback.
My kid's father is currently in jail and before he was placed there, we had many disagreements.We have two children together, and he has taken my first daughter as his own.the main problems we face are that he won't take into consideration any advice that I give him, he seems to not want to "grow up"(he wants to change majors in collge even though he's almost done with his degree, he's in jail for allowing some college buddies to put cars in his name,and they had fines and car accidents,whenver we need to dicuss important issuses he says "we'll figure it out" only for me to have to come up with the solution,etc), he's won't tell me the truth on his past unless I find out from someone else, and I don't love him. Everyone we know says he's a great guy, just a little irresponsible,however, I'm sick of feeling like I'm raising four kids instead of three.So should i leave him or should I stay for the sake of the kids?

My husband and I got in an agruement over his daughter. He said that his daughter who is 11 can go down to the pool (Condo Complex) by herself. I said no she can't, that an 11 year old should not go swimming by herself. He said that I shouldn't go over what he said, and basically he has final say. So basically I told him that I was sorry that I yelled, and for caring about his daughter. He told me he wants me to apologize and say he is right. I said I don't believe that he is right, basically this whole stupid situation is causing a big problem between us. Mind you I have 3 kids of my own and he has two we get on Sundays.

I need help guys! My wife's performance sucks big time! I want out! But I don't know how to do this. This is my first marriage. I am very super scared of the divorce thing and especially LONEINESS. I hate loneliness, because i get very depressed,being alone. I really depend on a WOMAN for my happiness and also at a emotional level. Well my teacher is nice and everything and is always picking on me. Well I got mad at her cause her stupid teacher friends, and i called her a b*tch to her intern and i'm sure her intern told her. Since he didn't prove me that he ended his relationship with his employee. He said that she left the company,and dumped him. One nigth, he called me very depressed and tearful. At first, I didn't want even to listen to him, but he almost crying asked, me to be compassionate and just listened to him.
we had some very good conversations.For sometime things went fine. The third time he asked to come back, I said yes but under the conditon that he will respect me as his wife, being completely honest, and open with me. he agreed, but I felt that was not a 100% sincere. Eventhoug I came back. for a while things were OK, but last week I started noticing a change on him. he mentioned that he had to travel and I asked him about details. about when he would come back, I asked him about that and he said don't worry. (???) I asked him again, who's gonna pick you up and he said the same, don't worry. I got pretty upset, but he didn't discuss further deatail and just walked away.

There's this girl who is really outgoing and loves to have a good laugh. After a good joke, she tells me "That's what I like about you. I love you. I have strong emotions for you" in a sweet, friendly kind of way, having a hint of sarcasm or that could be just me since that's what I infer from her personality . Im with my bf of 8months & i think were hitting the "top of the hill" This is going to be a long term thing or just a short term. I just dont know what to do, He tells me and shows me everyday that he loves me but we have about 5 unresolved issues that we contunually fight over, I have tried to compromise and even just ignore it but they are still unresolved. I love him and want to be with him but i have doubts that this wont last forever... where i am at in life im looking for something thats going to last because in a few years (1-2) I would like seriously try to have some babies. I want to settle down have a nice little house set up and be able to go out for a while before I have babies. He says he wants this too but sometimes his actions tell me diffrently. one of the issues was him not working. He has money to pay his half of the rent and to spend on whatever plus, he also pays the full water, garbage and electricity bill plus grocries. I work 40 hrs a week at $10/hour and
