My bf told me yesterday that he doesnt think he is the right guy for me because he has had bad relationships in the past and doesnt think he can give me what im looking for, but continues to say he loves me and wants me in his life?

hmm, he may just be looking out for your best interests and wants you to find someone who he believes is worthy of you. He may love you but he may think you could do better. The real question though, is what do you think? Just because he had bad relationships in the past doesnt mean he can't change the future. You need to do what's right for you...decide if this relationship is worthy enough for you to be involved in and if it's not, move on...Good Luck!

eeek! he may be tryin to tell you he doesn't want to be / you anymore-sorry! he may really care for you, but as far as being in a relationship with you? If someone wants to be in a relationshipo, they'll do what they can, otherwise they don't wanna be ther, right? Try saying something like this to him and see where he takes it...... "why don't yo let me be the judge of what i'm looking for, and/or what it is I want to get out of our relationship. All you have to do is be happy and be with me. Unless what you want out of our relationship is to not be with me, which in that case......"...........i hope you get the best outta it-sorry!

Do you'll get along all the time or do your bump heads. because two people can love each other and just have nothing in common so that can be what he means!

that he´s understimating himself.. and you should be making him feel that he´s the most important part of your life... that you live for him.. unless you think he´s right and he sucks as a boyfriend...
anyways... it is important to care about the peple who loves you..
i felt the same way with my ex.. and she left me for someone else... Good luck.. maybe he just need you to make him feel unique and the one for you...

good question! i would love to hear what others have to say. my fiance says some things similar to that. i think its their fear to please someone they really care about. i think he does loves you, its just hard to please someone you only want the best for. sometimes, men can be very ambitious and over eagered, like they are the man! ya know! good luck.
