There's this girl who is really outgoing and loves to have a good laugh. After a good joke, she tells me "That's what I like about you. I love you. I have strong emotions for you" in a sweet, friendly kind of way, having a hint of sarcasm or that could be just me since that's what I infer from her personality . She doesn't usually says these kinds of things, but could she joke about things like that without meaning a little bit of it?

I think that she was trying to break the ice with jokes and everything, but I think the purpose of breaking the ice was to tell you her true feelings. She probably figured that if she told you in a joking manner, that it wouldn't come off as overwhelming or anything. I think she means it, she just didn't want to scare you away by coming out and telling you her strong feelings. That way....so told you that she liked you...but you aren't too stricken with shock that you don't know what to say. A smooth move on her part...so..I think that you should go for it! She definitely likes you. Girls tend to use sarcasm or things like that as a cover up. She maybe worried that you don't like her back, so she's saying it in that tone so if you really don't like her back, she can always just say that she was kidding. She really does like you though.

it's possible cause i say i love you to all my friends but i never really thought it affected any of them cause they say they love me 2 but if she sounds sarcastic say i love you back and kid around like she does i guess

Did she say it to you alone or when you were with your friends? Ask her if she really means it.
