I was wondering, what makes a girl attractive to a guy? Not just physically, but intellectually?

he never does anything with me on the weekends. he says hes spending time with his kids. but how is sitting at his moms house playing spades, considered spending time with his kids. i have kids too and im willing to go out with him on weekends. he is around everyone but me on weekends. he visits his cousin and he hangs out with his brother. and so on. he has never taken me out on a weekend since we started dating and im sick of it. ive talked to him about it and nothing has changed. so what would you do. its been 3 months and hes never introduced me to his kids. ive only been to his house once. im at the point where i dont care anymore. his kids live with him and he always talk to me about them but he wont introduce me. im beginning to think he doesnt think im good enough to meet his kids. im beginning to resent the whole thing. hes met my kids and he comes to my house all the time. how is paying cards every weekend at his moms house and watching the game considered spending time. help

so my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 2 years and we have lived together for about 6 months. We fight about money because he works for his family and doesnt get paid often or nearly enough. I say he should break off working for his family (like he only got 2,000 total for the last 6 months, when he works everyday)... and work for someone else. Whenever we fight about this, or anything, he says 'well you deserve better im sorry to lose you, but you should have more'. So he basically breaks up with me, every fight we have. I think he wants a reaction from me because I always freak out after he does this. Ive tried talking to him about this and also just ignoring him when he causes more drama than necessary. HELP! what can I do! It makes me so stressed I dont want to bring up anything that bothers me becuase I know it will result in him just blowing up and trying to break it off. He does love me and is committed (or so he says), but I need him to stoP this behavior!

There is a boy in my uni, he follows me around very often, always trying to bump into me ‘’by chance’’, look right into my eyes, copies me, then during several days he looks at me like i’ve hurt him a lot and kinda like he is very angry with me! Though i even don’t know him! Then again the same story, follows me around and then again pretend to ignore me, turns his back to me, but when i stop looking at him , he turns around and stares at me… i have no idea what’s up with him, but i’m definitely just drown to him… i meet him too often by chance in our huge uni, in empty corridors, when every1 is supposed to be at classes… and i know that he is a nice guy, has lots of female friends and he is verry attractive and stylish and not a stalker lol why does he act like that?

Half of my family are Austrians, the other half are your typical US Appalachians. I grew up with the Austrian side here in America and occasionally visit my All-American half on a monthly basis. From my own experience I have found that Europeans are more family focused on the group instead of the individual... "Get good grades for your grandmother", things like that. Eating is a fun family event. And they are more conscious of worldly issues and personal education in general.
In contrast my All-American side of the family seem to think as individualist. Eating with them seems cold and mechanical (a burdensome necessity). And instead of watching the news or reading a book or newspaper they would much rather listen to a mindless minister at a no-nothing church.
In closing , it has always been a struggle for me to connect with the All-American side of my family (ready to give up). It seems that they think different, act different, and even love different... Opinions please

regards to the message she left on my machine. She was wondering if it was the right phone number since she got a man's voice on my machine. I have one of those answering machines with a guy's voice which I have no intention of changing since I'm a female who lives alone. I lead a busy life with working full time and doing other stuff. I don't think she seems to understand that I'm a busy person. I was gone a good part of the day on saturday when she had called.

When I did call her today late in the afternoon, I left a message on her machine saying I was returning her call. They weren't at home.

Oh, I should mention that I lost my mom to cancer last year and this particular relative in question has seem to have taken me under her wing. Something which I don't want since I already have a secondary mother figure in my life (another person) besides my deceased mom. The relative in question likes asking me really personal questions which I don't want to answer and try to avoid.

Alright, I've been liking this girl for nearly a year now and it won't go away. I tried to date others, giving them a chance, etc. She is still on my mind. I really like this girl. We hung out in the past with others in our social group whether outside friend's places or bars. We are essentially 'acquaintances.' But the whole dilemma is, she is taken. I probably won't see her again because the semester has ended and we have parted ways. I regret telling that I like her. Should I or just let it be?

My birthday is on Thursday so he hasn't forgotten yet, but I'm thinking he probably will. He might surprise me but he might not so I want to be prepared, haha. This isn't as huge a deal as it might seem. We've never put much of an emphasis on birthdays for some reason and it's okay with both of us. I've never even gotten him anything for his but I've at least done the decency of remembering and wishing him a happy birthday. The first year we went out he remembered. He's not good with dates but it seemed like he made a special effort to remember it. The second year he got it mixed up with my graduation date since they were three days apart, but even when I told him, still, nothing. If he forgets this year I don't want to tell him straight out that it's my birthday or past it and that he forgot. I want to kind of keep hinting and see how long it takes him to get it. Any ideas on what I should say?

as you can see in my other ? i am going through a lot for a 21 year old. i was married for 3 years to a woman who just up and left and put me in financial ruin as well as took away my life...my daughter. i have just gotten back from a tour of duty in iraq where i was injured, i feel like the walls are closing in on me, i cant stand to be around anyone anymore, i feel as if i could punch someone in the face and not care, i cant sleep, when i do go to sleep sometimes i hope i dont wake up.i am upset i feel this way i could never hurt my self and i keep saying that i have to cheer up things will get better i need to get better for my daughter and fight to get her but i feel as thought it isnt enough.no matter how happy i am during the day,around friends and family at night i still feel alone and lost and hopeless. i dont talk about my problems to many people, mainly b/c i dont want to be labeld as sucidal or crazy by members in my unit, the army is all i feel i have and even it dont help?

there was this huge awards ceremony and after party on the 12th of this month and i got home at 3 next day, (i went without my man cos it was only 4 ppl at work) and yesterday i found out that the 13th was his birthday..i mean i new it was his birthday but since i suck at dates i forgot.. he didnt say anything, a friend jogged my memory and wen i asked him he was totally ok about it an sed he understood and that it didn't matter..see thats just the kind of guy he is... am i a horrid GF ? guys wud u be pissed at ur girl?

my husband works in san jose CA, but he sleeps in daly city. he travel everyday back and forth for 2 hours. then he will sign in when he gets home and we'll chat. we're ok. but i just noticed that he doesn't make the effort to say " i mis u" i know there are no other girls. but when i ask him if he misses he'll say of cours "i miss you." and thats it. he'll only say "luv u" when he'll sign out. the question is. is it natural for you guys to be not that affectionate? he's busy with work. and he only gets 4 and a half hours of sleep and he sleeps in a sofa. he just borrows a laptop and when we chat he is with his friend. does it contribute?... does this mean he doesn't love me anymore? way back at home he is very affectionate and i show him that i love him so much..

There was a small party held for this girl whom I have a crush on, and I have a feeling she knows. She had a small bday party with her and 4 other girls. The problem is, she has a cousin who has a huge crush on me who was also at the party. The person that called to invite me is neither of the two girls. I wasn't home and didn't get the message until a week later, lol.

Unfortunately this is all the info I know about the call and party...who do you think actually wanted me at the party? The girl I have a crush on, the girl who has a crush on me, or the girl who actually invited me?

My husband and I have been married for almost 2 years. I met him when I was going through a very rough time, and a seperation from my first husband, whom I was married to for 9 years. I have a severe anger problem, and when I get mad, I yell and scream, cuss, and blame everything on him, whether he had anything to do with it or not. I have tried to change, I've tried to walk away from things, and approach them when I've calmed down, and for about a week, things are ok. My husband is a wonderful man, a great husband, a good provider, and the man I want to spend my life with. I've explained to him many times that I am sorry for my temper, and my outburts, and that I don't mean to take it out on him. He told me he understands, but I know that I've crushed his spirit, and for the life of me, I can't control myself when I get in one of my "moods." I've been diagnosed as being Bipolar, and talk to a counselor once a week. How can I be the wife he deserves?

Ok here goes...we started off just hangin out then eventually we were together all the time and then a couple and it was the best time in my life. I ve never met someone that make me as happy as he did. And he was happy too. i new from the get- go i needed to stay away from himbecause i was fallen for him quick and i told him that but he didnt listen and kept comin to my town from his which was about an hour and a half away. and would come find me so like i said i feel for him hard and it was great for about a year until about a month ago when he had to go to court and was lookin at some jail time so i figured it just stressin him and it will pass over after it all over with. but it hasnt! it still could be the probation stuff! He keeps tellin me to move out. We also have a 4 month old baby together and that makes it hard to cuz he is the greatest dad. But i havent done ne thing wrong so why is he treatin me like **** and tellin me to move out all the time. he wont tell me what wrong

I have a friend that I wrote an email to this last wednesday (4 days ago) and she hasn't emailed me back yet and she hasn't sent me anything for a week now and this is the longest she has gone without replying to me. We are supposed to go out this wednesday and she knows it and said she is going. I cant call her because i dont have her number but should I just wait a day or 2 or what? I dont know what to think... if something happened or what. What do you think?
