my husband works in san jose CA, but he sleeps in daly city. he travel everyday back and forth for 2 hours. then he will sign in when he gets home and we'll chat. we're ok. but i just noticed that he doesn't make the effort to say " i mis u" i know there are no other girls. but when i ask him if he misses he'll say of cours "i miss you." and thats it. he'll only say "luv u" when he'll sign out. the question is. is it natural for you guys to be not that affectionate? he's busy with work. and he only gets 4 and a half hours of sleep and he sleeps in a sofa. he just borrows a laptop and when we chat he is with his friend. does it contribute?... does this mean he doesn't love me anymore? way back at home he is very affectionate and i show him that i love him so much..

You seem extremely needy---and that will irritate any man rather quickly. Poor bloke, I feel for him.

He is probably embarrassed to be mushy in front of his friend. Guys give each other a hard time about such things. If you are sure that there is no one else and everything is good when he is home, I would not worry. Just keep telling him that you love him and miss him. Maybe you could even suggest some phone or online sex to get closer.

Not a problem in my book. the man is working like hell just to survive. he is probly just tired of the situation and would rather be with you. I mean he does drive 2 hours and ONLY sleeps 4 and 1/2 hours. Wow i feel for the guy. Also, it makes his return home to you much more, how do you say this, worth it! He looks forward to saying "I love you" in your face rather than from a computer, from which you can't feel/see emotions.

He's working so many hours that it seems that he's lost his sence of self. I wonder if he has to have this job doing this? Can you both relocate to a cheaper state where he can get a job that brings him home each day?

too much work...too little love....you know where this is going.
