there's this guy that i really like. we've been having sex together. so anyways he's a big flirt and last night I asked him why does he flirt with other girls and he was like "I don't want a girlfriend right now" meaning that he doesn't want ME to be his girlfriend. why doesn't he just tell me so directly? why does he continue to call me even though i tell him not to? what is his problem and what should i do? i don't want to be used by him anymore so how do i get rid of him??????? is he playing with me???? or did he really mean it when he said he doesn't want a girlfriend right now?

My boyfriends mother won't come to our wedding stating she can't afford to so she said and also she wants my bf to come say he is sorry for yelling at her she had continually lied to me about his life and he confronted her now she and his two brothers (groomsmen) won't come I don't know what to do I just went over there to get our lawnmower and she told me wedding haha he told me there wasn't going to be one I didn't say anything another ? HOW DO I GET HER TO STOP LYING?

My boyfriend and I have been together for well over a year. We got together in high school, and he transferred to my college for the Spring semester. We are happy together, and hope to get an apartment for our Junior year of college. Because we'd like to be financially stable, we started a savings account together, to which we contribute equal amounts every week ($20). My parents know about the account, and because I am an adult, gave their opinion, but left it at that, and were generally supportive, and glad that we were being financially prepared. My boyfriend did not tell his parents, and somehow, they found out about our account. They freaked out, and told him we had to cancel the account or they would not pay for him to go to college anymore.

I'm extremely angry with them for butting into our privacy, telling us what to do with our money, and threatening to pull their support from my boyfriend. Am I out of line for being upset? And should I approach them about it?

I am a mother of 2 children, ages 2 and 4. I also have two other room mates. One is my best friend and the other is my soon to be ex husband (who I am still friends with). I don't mind doing chores throughout the week because I am in between jobs at the moment, but during the room mates' off days I think they should help. Should I make a chore list or what? Every time I ask for help I normally get a sarcastic response (usually from my ex, where he trivializes usually bringing up stuff in the past and all sorts of other crap)--but I do need a break sometimes. I don't want to argue and I want things to be as peaceful as possible until I move out in a year--but taking care of two kids, myself, and two other grown ups isn't what I signed up for. Any ideas? I am willing to try anything that doesn't seem negative. Thanks! :)

Someone I know and very close w/ was dating this guy for 9 yrs & they never were married b/c he was married and stayed in the marriage to keep his pension, not pay child supp. etc. and he treated his wife like a dog. The person I know and this guy stop seeing each other around decem. b/c he started seeing someone else they work with since august supposedly probably longer but whatever. They all work together and HAD a friendly working relation. today the person I know found out that these two are getting married and he decided divorce his wife, she called him and asked him about it and he confirmed it si its not a rumor. What would you do to get through it? She is very hurt, it was a lot of wasted time and what advice can I give. I feel that she shouldnt have been talkin to him anyway b/c marriage is marriage no matter the situation and she put up w/ it for too long.

His dad is all about being a good Christian and is obsessed with God. Then he goes and hits his kids. I don't get it. He is so mean and even when I'm around he yells and screams and he's even hit my boyfriend right in front of me. He has scars on his body that he used to tell me were from him falling, and now I find out it's because of his dad. I feel like kicking this guys butt because of what he's doing. My boyfriend and his brother are always afraid when their dad comes home and I'm even afraid when this guy comes home now. The only person that knows is me, and the kids are brainwashed into thinking that what their dads doing is alright. They know it's wrong, but they verbally say it's okay. My boyfriend is over 18 but his brother isn't. what should i do or say to help? Sorry for the terrible grammar and I wasn't sure what section this should go in.

My girlfriend and I are about 16 years old. We live about 20 miles apart and only get to see eachother on weekends. Whenever I want to do something with her, her mom seems to try and not let us.

I'll let her know 4 days in advance what I want to do, and she'll say she has to think about it. Then won't tell me til about 2 hours before we're supposed to do whatever.

I'll let her know the day before and she'll say that it's too short of notice.

She also seems to have no respect for me, and will not drive, or allow my girlfriend to drive the family vehicle to see me. I'm supposed to do all the driving, and with gas prices, that's just making it even worse. If I want to hang at my house, I have to drive there (20 miles), drive back (20 miles), drive there (20 miles), and drive back again (20 miles). I just think it's a bit ridiculous.

We've been dating for almost 7 months, and I'm very happy. I just don't know how much longer I can put up with this. What do I do?

and i mean older like highschool and beyond. cuz im 15 and im sereously having issues with growing up. i dont like that my friends all want to single date. there cant be a "group" anymore. its always paired off. and not that i dont like boys but sometimes i just want to hang out. its mostly just that. but im also not liking having more things i need to do.

The wedding is for a woman I work with. We're not particularly close at all and I told them my girlfriend & I would go mainly as a way to seem like a "team player" at my job. my sister is graduating this weekend and my new husband and my 2 step children are going to visit my family that i rarely see due to the distance between us. like hundreds of miles. my husband has never met most of my family and i have been EXTREMELY excited about the vacation. Until recently, my husband has been making every excuse in the book as to why he doesnt want to go. he doesnt know them, it will be boring, a waste of money, he'll miss work, blah, blah, blah. my family is soooo excited to meet him and the kids. it just hurts my feelings that he is so mean. his family lives near us and we spend time with them all of the time. why doesnt he want to meet my family? if he loves me, he should want to make me happy, right? even if he has reservations....he should act like hes excited. i told him not to go if he didnt want to, but he was like "yeah, right" i'll never live that one down. but he has to understand that i want to enjoy time with my family and not be worried about him
