I need help with ideas for a theme. I have no idea at all... the colors will be seafoam green and azalea(a deep pink) and the accent will be silver. The flowers will be tulips and/or calla lilies. Any help will be greatly appreciated..the wedding is at the end of july..thanks.

Maybe if you are stuck on what theme you want... maybe you just need to simplify things... instead of saying like "the beach" is your theme... try just "circles" as your theme and have everything (invitations, boards, table layouts) cut in a circular pattern.

This sounds like a Hawaiian theme to me. The tulips won't fit this theme. But, the calla lilies will. The reception could be outside. Teekee touches would be awesome. You could use coconut shells to drink beverages out of. Menu could be sea food and fruit salads. Some fruits that are grown in Hawaii would be great. Fruit salads in a watermelon basket always looks great. Palm trees or palm branches would add a nice touch. If you have your reception by a pool. Candles always look awesome floating on the water. Good Luck! God Bless You! another mom that cares.

In this part of the country, themes are not the norm. Everything at your wedding will be tied together nicely by your choices of color and flowers. Unless you feel strongly about something, why bother with a theme? You probably have enough on your plate as it is.

That being said, your colors scream "coral." It makes me think of mermaids and underwater treasure. Tables can be named for famous beaches. Fake jewels can adorn the tables. Table cards can be shaped like mermaids.

But really, don't worry about a theme.

I like the colours of deep pink and seafoam green. Silver wouldn't be my choice as an accent (I'd choose teal), but it's yours to do with as you wish!
There's a world of difference between your flower choices, one is quite formal, the other rather informal. That may dictate what your theme is, if you actually have to have one.

Our colors were pink, black and silver... and we just used "love" as our theme... it was girly with the lace tableclothes, heart shaped cookie cutters for favours, pink roses everywhere, as well as other pink flowers. And little white lights twinkling allllll around the room.

A lot of couple theme their wedding around the season they're marrying in. You're getting married in the summer time so think outdoors, beach, sand, ocean, fireworks.. all things summer.

Themes.... you know you dont really need to have a theme for a wedding, colors are just enough. but if you would like some ideas:
the Beach....
just Summer theme...
Butterflies....

I hope that helps.
