ok heres wat hapn i was wit this boy we will call d anhe is n the marines so we dont talk much. well my ex (k) was gettn help on the reasons we broke up 4 (dnt ask long story) but n e way we started talkin an he askd me if id like to go to the movies an i dont bleeve in cheatin but he said it wuld be as friends so i said yes but he is really pushy(i was afraid of him due to that) an i thought that he was changin but i guess not becuz wen we went he was all over me an i kinda caved but while we were in the middle i want to stop but newayz in the end he calld d an told him wat hapn i am tryin to further myself from k but he wont let me he threatns me an i dont want to call the police so 1 how do i stop k from harrassing me an 2 how do i win d back he is talkin to me just not happy id love to hear a mans point of veiw thanx

There is this young lady, who is my best friend. We have known each other for 2.5 years. We are really close, and share each others secrets. The problem is I have fallen for her. I have tried at least 5 times to make this relationship more than just friends, but she does not like me in that way. During these 2.5 years, she has gone out with "losers". She keeps getting her heart hurt by these dum-dums. She talks to me about them and about the idiotic things they do to hurt her. Sometimes I just want to say, "Stop dating these idiots and be my girlfriend!" What should I do?

I like this guy that obviously likes me and we would be going out if we where old enough but I am 13 and he is six days older than me but lately I have heard that in the passed he has prettended to like a girl so that the girl he really used to like wouldn't think he did for some reason and it is making me nervous.Do you have any advice for me and don't tell me just to sk him out cause I am too young and niether of or parents would let us at this age.

My boyfriends little brother (12 y/o) just told my boyfriend that I was looking through his moms jewelry box with the door locked and that I was looking through his other brothers top drawer where he keeps money and now he is missing some. None of that is true! He use to be really nice to me and recently he started getting snippy and rude. I told him if he wasnt nicer to me I wouldnt give him rides anywhere and now he is telling these lies! Although his older brother and I have been going out for 3 yrs his mom likes me on and off because I am his first girlfriend. Its almost like she is looking for a reason to not like me and this is it! I ask my bf what to do and he just says "I dont know" Should I talk to his parents or talk to him (the little brother)?

I would love to hear from Grandparents who live far enough away from their children and grandchildren that they only see them a few times a year or less.

What kind of things do you do to keep a relationship going, esp. with Grandchildren?

Anyone with good suggestions or experience encouraged to reply!


My grandchildren are toddlers, and I live 600 miles away, seeing them about 3 times a year. I send them pictures I make on the computer, and videos of my husband and I reading or telling stories, but looking for other ways of interacting too. (Web cams are not an option at this time, nor is relocating closer.)

Yes, I've been busy with school and work but should I really start improving my love life too. I took a break from relationships for maturity reasons (I've always felt wiser and stronger emotionally then my b/fs). For that reason, I thought I'd reflect on why I attract the kind of men I don't want in my life.

However, should I just stop with all the reflecting? How do I start attracting the men that I need verses the the ones who are toxic?????

Well 2night i finally got a hold of my b/friends cell. im 25 hes 34. Man oh man what did I find. Topless pics of girls/girls sprawled out on his bed. Have you ever had a male housemate who keeps pretending to get caught in the act of pleasuring himself? Whenever my girlfriend or I walk into the bathroom, there he is at it again with our photos. He acts all embarressed/looks sheepish etc but he never even bothers to lock the door. We have both made it clear to him that we are only interested in sleeping with each other and not him, but he insists on trying to change our minds by doing all our chores etc. How do I let him down gently without breaking the fragile and delicate male ego. And how do we get him to lock the BLOODY door and quit using our photos!?!

I know you might think she really needs help n you wont believe it..but when i started asking her some more questions about what shes thinkin about so much lately...she finally opened up to me...and told me about it. We've been cool for three years and this whole time he's liked me (i had no clue) and recently i just realized that even if he is a dork, i really love him. We're both mutual yet decided that right now in our lives, we can't risk it. We'll take our time and not rush - it'll happen when it happens.

So now we're trying to be normal again but WE CAN'T!!! I MISS IT! I know me and him are on the same page - we're both selfish: we want to be best friends again but at the same time we secretly both want each other to still keep those feelings in tact.

I'm scared because i'm afraid we'll never have that same friendship again and also if we did, he might not look at me the same way. After going through soo many stupid guys, the one i was looking for the whole time, was the one right next to me

i don't think i'm ever gonna get over him and i need help!
we'll we ever be normal again? I just want us to have that close friendship again and maybe some potential for being together later..

Frustrates me . . . People woo each other, date, fall in love, marry. . . then (not always, but often) complain and make ' jokes ' about marriage being ' hell ' etc. and remain married to that person that they complain about.

I was married for 23 yrs, now peacefully divorced 4 yrs. I support the idea and thought of marriage. Yet, if it's not good anymore, you've done all you can to ' fix ' the marriage and still unhappy...then why not divorce and move on to find peace in your life again ? I don't understand why married people ' joke ' that their spouse is ' terrible ' etc., or that their marriage is ' hell ' as I just read another expressed on this site. The question was " What is ' hell ' ". . . Someone replied " Being married ".

I really don't understand why ones who supposedly love each other say hurtful things of each other and their marriage...even in the guise of a ' joke '.

I really don't understand this. Any insight to understand this ?

I have claimed the whole time we dated that she used me for things that I gave her and told her that is why she dated me, but she denied that being true. We have a baby together and on the day she broke up with me I had the child with me and while she was at work I suspended the account (since I am the one that pays for it). She went hay wire calling me up telling me how this is one reason she didnt want to date me. She claimed that this is the reason that " she felt like she was selling her soul to the devil by dating me" Now I try and tell her how this is a perfect example of how she used me and she still claims that she never used me and that I should not have turned her cell phone off since we have a baby together, but again, the child was with me at the time I turned it off. We are both curious of everyone's response and will be checking the answers frequently so if you need more info, just ask and I will provide with in a half hour. Thanks for your oppinions

people say leave that who hurt me, try to distract myself from the things which makes me sad... forget the person whom I love but he doesn't... everyone said to me forget him and other person will come who will truly love me but this is all to say... nothing is in reality.
Its been more than a year... but till today I am in deep deep sadness. mourn on my love, my feelings never changed. I pretend to be happy in front of others, my friend and my parents think I am funny girl...
but I know this is just not me. my Internal is sad, in greif, I am in pain,,, for so long... I am tired from this sadness.. my life undergown from so many tragedies in past 4year and the guy whom I love come in my life 1year back with promise that he will never go my smile from my lips... but he left me, I bear everything happened to me but this , he left me. i cant come over it. each time I tried to come out but In this past year I tried to forget him but as I tried it become more painful. I truly love him but He dont care for my feeling.
from past two days I am very upset, I dont want to eat, I am not crying and not doing any thing. I am loosing interest in life's activities. But i want to come out. I dont want to be like this but i am unable to help myself. there is nobody in this huge huge world to whom i can explain how sad I am, how painful is to tolerate that you are not been loved with that person to whom who love more than anything. I cant forget him and I dont want to be with him. Is this sadness will remain with me forever? Thats why I thought to describe my feelings here... help me people, I am helpless.
