You deserve much better. Try talking to her and tell how you feel about it. If she is really your Friend then she will understand and gradually get better at her attitude towards you. However if that isn't the case then you deserve someone understanding who can like you and treat you as an equal simply slowly back off until all the strings that connect you to her have been cut and find a new group of Friends who are nice and affectionate towards you

I had a "friend" like this. If you feel like you're getting treated like dirt, you have two options. You can just stop talking to them, which is hard to do without an explaination, or you can confront them. Tell them you don't like the way they treat you sometimes. They'll either apologize and try to amend their actions or they'll get totally defensive and rip on you some more for saying something bad about them. In that case, you're absolutely justified in dropping them as a friend. Life is too short to have friends that treat you like crap. You'll be soooo much better off without them.

If that person was wiping and smearing their muddy hands on you...would you stay and stand for that ?
No different of how a person is treating you. A person is only going to treat your the way you LET them treat you.
You would not stand there and keep letting a person smear their muddy hands on you over and over again. Why stay in a friendship / relationship where a person is ' wiping ' their careless, not valuing of you, disrespectful emotions over you.
In either case...muddy hands or ' muddy ' friendship...tell the person to stop or more firmly ' knock it off '. If they don't...if you have any self value (which I'm sure you do) then walk away and associate with one(s) who do value your company and friendship.
You're asking why that person is treating your that way. Why are you standing for that and allowing them treat you that way?

stand up and let this person know you are a worthwilr human being with feelings and a mind of your own by simply walking away and refusing to spend time with them. You deserve better than that. ppl who manipulate and use others are the most emotionally insecure and weakest. Be strong dont give in as this person will play on that, remember that you are better than that. Best wishes you deserve the best.

Then she is no friend to you, sweetheart. True friends don't act like towards others. Tell her that if she was any kind of friend she wouldn't treat you the way she's doing. If it gets worse, just don't have anything to do with her, plain and simple. Be careful who you're friends with, be picky and choose carefully.

to begin with, i wouldn't call such kind of a person a friend! i myself and some other ppl i know have been in such situation... usually the problem is that there's something in your friend that keeps you with him or her, and though they sometimes treat you like crap they do it in such a way that you can't use it as a pretext to break up with them or even if you try to do it you'd look silly. the only thing you can do is to be strong and get rid of this "friend", oh! and while doing it don't be shy to tell him or her what you thinks of them!

try sticking up for yourself tell them how you feel maybe they dont even realize there treating you like this... its better to be honest about it rather than let things build and build until you explode cuz if you do that then there might not be a chance to fix things and if they mean that much to you than dont let that happen....

Run, don't walk. You don't need this person and I am not sure anyone else wants this kind of person either.
