I have noticed that my husband calls on his kids first. He got a new job and called our daughter. I found out 2 days later from her. Since then, I realize, he calls her every morning and stops in to see our son regularly. I have already brought it to his attention....at least the part where I feel he has burdened our kids with adult responsibilities and discussions because he will chat with them first (late teens but still not appropriate to me).... what do y ou think? Am I being to sensitive. Heres my thought...you are in a relationship with the person who you go to first....my first thought every day is him....but its not that way for him.....

Hello! This question open to men or women....what do you think is a great gift for a guy turning 18 to recieve from his girlfriend? We have been together 6 months so this is the first time celebrating his birthday...he kind of has everything he really wants already so I am stuck for ideas..anything unique(besides cd,dvds,games etc)? I have been on three dates with this guy and we talk on the phone often too. I have know him now for a few weeks.Hes great, we get along great and have a lot in common. We have only made out and he has never once pressured me to have sex. I am 20 and so is he, the thing is I am a virgin and I dont think he is. Will me being a virgin turn him off. Last night my boyfriend was asked by his best friend's mother when he planned to pop the question to me (yeah, she's very nosey). He told her he didn't want to rush anything. To make a long story short she reminded him we've been dating for over a year and have lived together almost a year and that's no longer considered a "rush". He told her he wanted to get some things straightened out money-wise before any long term commitments were made. The thing that makes me confused about this is that he just bought a new $1100 56" TV, a $300 stand for the new TV, an Xbox 360 for $400, he bought new furniture last year right before I moved in that was $2300 (couch, love seat, end tables, and coffee table), and just got a '99 Chevy Tahoe a few days ago for $8100. The only thing he really needed was the new truck. He can definitely afford these things but, obviously, it'll be a while before everything is "straightened out". Does he just not want to marry me?

my husband and i have 16 kids (8 [ 5 his , 3 adopted] from his side, 5 [ 3 mine, 2 adopted ]from my side, and 3 [1 ours, 1 adopted, 1 foster care] from after we married), and also my niece and nephew are living with us for a while. they range in ages from 10 mo. - 19. We were recently at the childrens shelter to see about adopting our 16 year old foster son, when we met a child (with a past I'll fail to mention) there named Brittany. She was 13 and i just wanted to wrap her in my arms and tell her that nobody would ever hurt her again. i know it's not possible to take in every orphaned or hurting child in the world, despite the fact that if i could i would, but should we consider taking her in. Money and room is not an option. we have plenty of both to care for our kids. but i don't know how the others would respond. my husband feels the same way i do, but is stilla little unsure. opinions, thoughts?

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 yrs. I always worry about everything. I know he is a great guy & wouldnt ever cheat on me or hurt me. He never tells me im pretty. I ran into some financial hardships and i'm awaiting a nice sum of money within 3 weeks.My stepdaughter i dont really know except shes been a real money hounder in past always asking a few mo's ago i sent her 200 and told her instead paying me back send to family in mexico so when i started having issues she came out and said she recently sold her truck and wants to laon me money,help me so she sent 500.I accepted and thanked her told her shed get it right back,she said no problem.The very next day she called saying when i pay her back can i loan her extra money like 1000 that she can pay back in payments over few months,and also her fathers brother wants to barrow 1000 he can pay back in a month.And my husband plays my concience/guilt says i should help because when i needed it for food his daughter helped me and i should also trust his brother i dont know and lives in mexico.What would you think about this and what would you do?

me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years and we are expecting a little boy in may. however he has a 12 year old son from a previous relationship and the little boy is crazy!!! at first me and his son got along fine we went out every weekend i took him shopping and everything this is when his mom wouldn;t get him on the weekends. now that is mom picks him up every weekend he has been really disrespectful towards me and every time i bring it up to his father, his father does put him in his place but where did all this come from? i don't know if he's jealous about the baby or what but it needs to stop. he also will be mean when his father is not around but as soon as he comes around he's the greatest little boy ever!! what do i do without hurting me and his father's relationship?

I have the actual wooden backdrop piece. It is a 3 piece (medium size) lattice frame in white. Its all connected together, its about the length of a long rectangular table. Does anyone have any ideas on how to decorate it. Our colors are red and white and also a touch of pink.

And why do women on this site ask about how to get their husbands to help? I mean, it's one thing if your just a lazy house wife who wants to slack off, but if you're both working clearly, you should be sharing the house work or simply neglecting it together. I'd never stay with a man who expected me to do all the cooking, cleaning, shopping, laundry ect. for one, I'm not very good it at it. Two, it's not fair and three, I'd rather neglect it anyways. Maybe I'm a slob, but I'd rather be a slob than a slaving wife!
