my sis has been divorced 10 yrs now & raises 2 daughters 16&15 yrs. she never, by my observation, treated her older daughter as well as she does the younger one. & now it has started to take its toll.... the older daughter has since joined a gang (dad's pretty much outta the pic) & has experimented w/drugs, the way my sis did (and my niece knows about it). now my sis says very hurtful things in front of and to my niece& vice versa.there is no respect between them and not much kindness. i try to intervene when i can but there's not much i can do (i have my own fam.) my sis doesn't work half the time(for med reasons, she says) and both of my nieces get frustrated that there is not enough $ to buy things teen-girls want. just yesterday, they got into a physical fight and my sis kind of bragged that she "busted her lip" (my1 niece's). they say they don't need therapy and i worry that something much worse will happen if they don't get the help i think they seriously need. what can fam. do?

long story short,i had this best friend of mine for about 9 years,we became friends in the 6th grade,and ended the friendship as a sophmore in college,like 1 week ago.anyway 9th grade i spilled my guts, told her how i felt about her,i was sincere,i really loved her. but she said no,in a nice way.she jumped from boyfriend to bf, one jerk after another, they hit her, emotionally abandoned her, and only hurt her.i loved her so much and wanted her to be my world. i was her best friend so i got to bring her roses,and take her to movies and dinner,and spend time with her without having to make up excuses as to why.but she could never see how much i wanted her..she broke my heart,it hurt alot and it still does.i just wanted a chance to make her happy,because i can tell it's not a feeling she's used to.i think mentally,i'm emotionally bankrupt,like i just give up,i believe i wasn't meant to be happy,i did my best & failed, so why would it be different with any other girl?

Theoretically Speaking-
Say your very best friend, since birth- Who has stuck by you when even your family didn't had a big secret.

Her father was a major drug dealer. Not just a bit of Pot here and there but, Millions and Millions dollars of Hardcore drugs pass through him every week if not day.

Say, You found out on accident and, Now you understand how your friend's family is able to maintain thier lifestyle,
And all the little things that you never understood made sense.

Would you turn her family, Specifically, her father in?

What If you knew that It could Ruin, Literally, Ruin her life?
She would Not be able to finish collge, Her car, her home, her family would be taken away and she would be engulfed in scandal?

Your best friend who never betrayed you, who was more of a part of your family that relatives by blood, Life would be ruined If you informed the cops.

What would you do? Sacerfice her for the greater good?

Or just let what may be, be?

My girl of 9 years needed some help to get on a job, not working with him, but in the same company....

Well for a while she was hiding calls, and text messages.. but assured me nothing was going on.

It's a guy I don't respect.. she said she has no more need to talk to him or anything like that anymore. Well, for some reason she defends him A LOT. She says she doesn't want to talk bad about someone that is trying to help her get hired. She is constantly defending his actions over everything.

Do you think there is something going on, or was, with them two??

She brings up the time she used to like him about 8 years ago.. but she mentions that he never said he liked her. I will ask her, "what if he started to like you, what would you do?" and she says.. "it's a non issue because he doesn't like me!"

What do you guys think?

Heres the story.
My good friend who i will call Dog is having her 16th b'day party which we've all been going on about and trying to work out.
and at school and stuff they talk about wat drinks they bringing and how drunk they mite b n stuff as if it was totally normal, and these are really good friends to me who aren't relaly popular or try hard populars n just do there own thing. And yet because there is going to be alcohol at the party I'm not allowed to go. I can understand this, 1 I'm not going to lie to my mum because I('m stuck with her a lot longer than i will be most of my mates, 2 peer pressure can be strong so I can understand why my mum would be worried (although my friends are actually ensuring that one of my frends going who isnt allowed to drink wont be drinking), 3 drinking is illegal and who knows what someone could slip into my drink.

First, understand this is a girl I'm in love with commenting to a friend of hers on myspace who's boyfriend broke up with her. This came off a blog:
"well, i think everything you said in that was a 100% true! there is no perfect relationship. but you have to remember that your not the only one in the relationship the girl always puts 110% into their relationships and most boys dont. its not fare to us that we get hurt and they act as if everything is just great! we have to learn to only put in as much as we get. he should have called to talk about, if he really cared. so i think you should not worry about it, cause he needs to be the one to make the next move, if there is one."
All I did to the girl in the above comment was love her. That's why I didn't try that hard to go out with her. I have a crush on Brodie...and he has a female friend who cannot stand me being his friend. She is my supervisor. She has stood in front of everyone including customers & said that if I was a real woman I'd take Brodie away from her. He says they are not dating. She informed me of other me who are "not interested" in me. These men are longtime friends...not potential lovers. I call Brodie "Baby" and he calls me "Baby" too. He started it! Tonight Dracula Woman blew up when I called him "Baby" so I called her my second favorite "B" word! Now she's says she's gonna get me fired! I told her she didn't know what trouble she'd be in if I opened my mouth! She got mad about two weeks ago when he came to my house and demanded to know if we slept together. Then this week she asked if I had my period. Like she was checking if I was pregnant. I neither slept with him or got pregnant! He did make a comment while he was visiting me concerning if there was room enough in my bed for him too. What now?

OK I think I might be oblivious if he likes me but its very hard to know if a friends likes you because you get along very well. I didn't really didn't think about that until a guy told me that he might like me. He asked me if I would go out with him if he asked me out. But I was in shock and said no because I really don't like going out with friends. Just for the fact that if it doesnt work out then we wouldn't be friends anymore because of the whole dating thing. Hey, I dont really have a problem with it, normally, but lately, its like crazy. It's to the point where I hurt afterwards. He was my first, and I was his, so i dont really know whats gotten into him, because he never used to be like this. All of the sudden, he's doing things WAY too hard, and i don't know how to tell him I dont like it without sounding like a *****. Normally,I wouldn't say anything, but it hurts, and it shouldn't. In my other question i told u about the guy i slept with.
No, now i too don want to get him back, i can manage my life alone well.
But here the question is, that he is taking pleasure in showing me that he deliberately cheated & exploited me.

At present I am behaving formally, nicely & friendly with him, showing, i am not atall affected,
Rather i plan to let him know, that i too did it for an experiment, i.e., i too exploited him in that act.
My motto is to disappoint his business-minded attitude & nothing else.
