Theoretically Speaking-
Say your very best friend, since birth- Who has stuck by you when even your family didn't had a big secret.

Her father was a major drug dealer. Not just a bit of Pot here and there but, Millions and Millions dollars of Hardcore drugs pass through him every week if not day.

Say, You found out on accident and, Now you understand how your friend's family is able to maintain thier lifestyle,
And all the little things that you never understood made sense.

Would you turn her family, Specifically, her father in?

What If you knew that It could Ruin, Literally, Ruin her life?
She would Not be able to finish collge, Her car, her home, her family would be taken away and she would be engulfed in scandal?

Your best friend who never betrayed you, who was more of a part of your family that relatives by blood, Life would be ruined If you informed the cops.

What would you do? Sacerfice her for the greater good?

Or just let what may be, be?

well.. I would say you are in a particularly bad situation...
Me... personally... I would probably not turn them in... being that the dude is not a small timer... he's prolly got some pretty big and mean people that are overlooking him... should THEY find out that you are the one who turned in their man... it may not be pretty... not to mention... if the man gets arrested and decides to turn "state's evidence" as a means of getting himself out of trouble... (i.e. ratting on others)... then you may find the only way to visit your friend will be in a cemetary... and on and on...
Although... now that you know... should he be caught (and they usually are) and you have knowledge of it... that makes you an accessory... you may face criminal charges... if you are in his home at the time he's caught and he has contraband in his home (drugs)... then you may face charges for that...
I would distance myself from the family all together... get the hell outta dodge... if you have found this out... there is a good chance that the DEA and local police have as well... and you're pretty face is part of their investigations...

If you decide to turn anyone in... you had better make dang sure that you will be anonomys (sp?)... and stay that way... otherwise, you risk your own family...
best of luck...

Well, I think that you may want to confront your friend about this first. If you do that & explain the situation they should understand. If they do then ask them what they think about it.

Take there opinion into serious consideration. Listen to what they have to say about what you are telling them.

Since they haven't betrayed you I think that they would respect you if you went to them about this.

I'm sorry that you had to find something like that about a friends family. I hope everything works out for you.

Most likely if you turn her father in, he will find a way to know who did it and come after you. Drug dealers have friends EVERYWHERE even in the FBI and just everywhere. Just let them be and keep the secret. Not worth losing your life over.

There is no doubt in my mind, about what I would do. Keep my mouth shut, mind my own business, and if they're found out, claim that I never knew anything about it. My friends come first. To hell with the law. While drug dealing/use is not something I approve of personally, as long as their actions aren't having an effect on me, it's not any of my business.

This comes down to your morals - what do you really believe?

Once you have your answer, work from there.

Personally, I think it would be worse if they did get found out and you didnt come forward. Then you would be in trouble for withholding information...

It is a tricky situation...

Absolutly DO NOT betray her if u trully are Best Friends Forever!
What u need to do is have a PRIVATE conversation with her father and tell him that u know, he will sort something out so u wont have to be so worried!
