My heart goes out to you. I have SO been there. Id love to tell you that there is an easy way out, but there isnt. Time will seriously help and heal you. Maybe not completely, but enough to get you to a point to love again. I know it seems impossible at this point, but it will happen. All you can do is take care of yourself, do whatever makes you happy. Know that you are not alone, and that we have ALL (or will at some point if not yet) been there. I always found it helpful to listen to some good music, have a good cry and have a glass of wine.
:) good luck... it will only get better...

A good portion of your life was devoted to someone you love. Now your life does not have that and you find it hard to let it go. Broken hearts and destined to be healed. Like a broken bone, it takes time to heal and gives you pause to see where your life is now and in what direction.

It's hard because you can't help but wonder what your next meeting will be like. And as for getting back hope. Well, I've always just sat in bed at night thinking of what would've happened in a "perfect world". I wouldn't recommend this if it makes you think of what you're losing from this person though.

"When a relationship ends, we are stricken with grief, because we are being forced to deal with space in an untimely fashion. We are reeling from our own misunderstanding. That person didn't exist the way we thought. All that remains is memories and emotions. Perhaps we mistook him/her for part of our own identity. He/she is gone, but he/she was never really there the way we imagined. The reality is just more blatant now. When later we say "I am over that; I've let go of him/her" what we are really saying is, "I've let go of the concept of that person and how thigs would be between us." Things aren't as solid as they appear. It was the concept that was causing us heartache."

I know exactly how feel. But when you love someone the love never really stops or goes away. but in order to find hope that you will love again that is something you need to find withing yourself. eventually the brokeness you feel will fade. basically it takes time heal no matter how badly you want the pain stop you just have to wait it out.

Learn to not get attached that way in the first place wold be my advise. You never know when someone is going to die, leave or get sick. Just don't get so attached to the idea of someone else making your life whole and complete. People are a compliment and not a sole source of power, happiness and joy.

You remember all the good times you had with that person, and all of the good memories. It's sometimes hard to realize that these memories are over, and in the past. It just takes time to process everything and move on.

Cry it out and let go of all the pressure in you. Then when you're fresh think that there are many others out there and that person is not the only one. I've been through it before.
