well, its like this she broke up with me, then shes like i still love u....and it left me confused...if u still love some one then u wouldnt leave them....WHAT DOES THIS MEAN????

I'm 26 and I work 2 jobs. I have standards and the bar crowd doesn't do it for me. Where are all the smart guys at??? Not the dorky ones, but the politically savy ones who like to play scrabble and chess and listen to the Grateful Dead and hug trees??? Sheesh....maybe I'm just too picky???

My baby is so cute and adorable. I think that she would look so precious with a large hoop earring or diamond studd in her nose. My husband and I are seriously considering getting her nose pierced for the spring months. We even found a piercer that would be willing to do the procedure for us. Some of my relatives don't think that this would be such a good idea but I don't see anything wrong with it. Why shouldn't I get my toddler's nose pierced?

ive been dating my current girlfriend for 6months, and i love her to death, ive met her mum and her mum likes me, but her brother hates me, he has been telling her dad that im on drugs, that im using her for sex etc (which im not), i havent met her dad yet and already he thinks that, i mean her brother already hates me cause i confronted him about the fact he hits his sister, he is a very abusive SOB (i had 2 stop myself from breaking his nose), its cause of him that she has no confidence, no belief in herself, and the only reason i can see why he would hate me was because i am undoing the damage he has inflicted on her over the years, so im assuming its a power thing, how should i deal with the brother and dad??? any suggestions would be greatly appreciated =) thanx in advanced

or something is bothering him, he wont talk about it. I can tell that something is wrong, and ask but he always says that he is fine. I know that he is not fine and that something is either wrong or happened? It scares me that he won't open up to me. On the other hand if he can tell something is bothering me then he expects me to tell him, and talk about it. What can I do to get mu husband to open up to me.

Old friend since high school emails me again after many years and we start talking online.He said that I was the love of his life and that if we had stayed together we would have gotten married. He was quite open about his feelings straight away. He said that he was going through a divorce and currently living with a woman who was there for him. He said that she was not the love of his but rather they had mutual trust and understanding. He never thought that I would ever pop up in his life again. When I mentioned to him that I felt the same way about him, he completely shut down and said he had "circumstances' and that all he could offer me was friendship. He reads my emails sometimes 6-10 times over and over. I have a way of tracking emails. He lives overseas and he has said when he comes back to my area he will let me know. when I mention to him that I will be overseas and that I can meet him for a drink if he likes. He reads the email 11 times and replies with, I am too busy.

ok so my bf is dropping hints that we're getting engaged in 08. For now I'm wearing his class ring as a commitment ring. But we can't figure out where to file a marriage license..He keeps bringing it up and now it's got me thinking..My friends filed the paperwork but didn't have a ceremony...so he's leaning toward that...but where would we file it? Im just curious... It seems as though things have changed since my bf and I first started dating. He doesnt call me as much at work... he doesnt make an appoint to go to sleep with me anymore, he plays pool with his friends in the basement. Maybe we are just getting more comfortable? My dear friend who I love to death just lost his little sister in a car accident. They were very close and he is heartbroken. He called last night crying. I was shocked and very sad, I listened and tried to make him feel better. I didn't know what to say, which is a first for me. I stupidly thought that I should talk about something else to get his mind off of it so he could fall asleep. Now I realize that that switching the topic to my spring break was an insensitive thing to do, but my intentions were good. What comforting things can you possibly say to someone who is grieving?

This boy i like is really good looking and every girl likes him and he always has a girlfriend. I have known him since we were both three and when we were about 9 we fell out over something i can't remember and ever since it has been really hard to be nice to him even though we made friends again. Now we go the same highschool we never accnolage the others presence and if our parents weren't friends and we didn't see eachother every friday and sometimes saturday we wouldn't ever really talk. But when we do we are always with my sister and my best friend and when I'm not really paying attention to a conversation i sometimes look up and catch him watching me. But i really like him and i don't know weather or not he likes me as i like him because we don't really have any of the smae friends because am not really in the "in" croud at school. Any ideas?

I am not married yet; however, we are getting married next year. It's not that I don't get along with his family because I do, it's just that I don't really agree with somethings his family does which makes me and my fiance argue. my daughter has been married to an italian boy for four years now. she had two children and he has one [who he has custodity of] . his family only sends presents to his daughter and ignores my daughters children.yesterday she got another package for the step daughter. we have always treated all the children like our own. infact grandpa spends more time with destiny [step child] than her father does. they grandpa[snow] and destiny have a garden together, they go fishing he reads her books to her she reads to him. needless to say we are fair . but yesterday i called his parents and told them this is unfair and family does not do this. he went through the roof.and said it wasn't my place. after 4 yrs. and not getting involved in herpersonal life except to listen . i have had it . does a grandma have this right ? do i owe my son in law an apology?
