No their is nothing wrong with you. The problem is your looking for someone to validate your worth meaning what a great person you are. Extroverted, more outgoing people tend to have lots of social networks and friends, but no true best friend. Then there's introverts like me who are blessed with a best friend but have no real other friends. I guess you can't have it all...

It happens when you meet someone and an effortless friendship begins. You are comfortable and natural with each other, and find that he/she is solid in situations where other friends tend to bail out. You build a connection so strong you are convinced you are soul mates.

Nope, nothing is wrong with you...It's either you make a deep connection with an individual to call them a best friend or it's not there...In this day and age, best friends are truly hard to find.
