Okay so here's the deal
I think that i may like my best guy friend. It's kind of a tricky situation though because we met through my best friend and her [now ex] boyfriend. My best friend encourages me to go out with him, and i don't know if i really like him or not.

He also sends me mixed signals:
he always says hi to me in the halls and stuff
he gives me hugs all the time
&& i know he thinks of me as one of his good friends

but on the other hand
he never calls me
he rarely answers my calls
[but lots of his friends tell me he never answers his phone anyways]
&& he usually won't go out of his way to talk to me

we always have fun together
so i was wondering based on that
if he could mabye like me
or if he just sees me as a friend

ps:
he has had some tragedies in his life and he doesn't really like to talk about them although he has shared part of them with me plus he has a brother with mental disabilites so could this keep him from wanting to get too close to me

It's becoming a real problem with my family- my mum has a complete inability to make decisions; she's been this way ever since I was a kid, but has gotten much worse in later years.
We need to get out house painted -badly- and she's been putting a lot of time into preparation, even consulting friends and interior designers. It's been like this for five whole years, but we never actually get anywhere because she simply can't decide on the colours! She'd whittled it down to two different shade of orange, but then she just gave up. I'm becoming really stressed out, because not only is this extremely frustrating, but it's putting an enormous strain on the family; Dad's threatening to move to Thailand (we live in Australia).
I've tried to talk it over with Mum, but whenever I do, she just goes beserk, and is never willing to listen to me. *Groan.
Any adive would be helpful, I'm desperate at this point.

i was super close with my best guy friend a couple years ago, but we decided to go out and that was the best year of my life. i was so afraid of commitment though, i was young and i didnt want to deal with it. i broke it up, and since then things just started falling apart. now we barely talk and I ABSOLTLY HATE IT!!! i take everything back! ive dated other people but no one compares to him. i cry every day because i just miss him so much, we're so opposite and i like it that way. im girly and hes some punk skater. i already told him my feelins and he said that i should just forget about him because he doesnt want to go back. but i know he has to miss what we had, nothing compares to what we had. the point is, its been about 3 weeks since i told him i loved him and he broke up with his girlfriend. is this a sign? ive given him space and i cant take anymore of this "waiting" i love him and i want him back, but how is this going to happen? can someone please tell me some things i can do?

OK, my friend’s wife went to visit her family out of country & was gone 1 month. On her return, he waited a week for sex. That’s 5 wks total abstinence & wife says everything’s ok. Sex is still sporadic at best & she claims its just her body doesn’t want sex. We think maybe she’s suffering from depression? It seems to me if you love someone & you are separated for a month you would want to be intimate ASAP. I know women are different so what I want to know is this normal behavior for a women and nothing my friend should worry about?

Well I've been in this relationship for awhile with this guy. He used to be so good to me and now he is treating me terrible. Ignoring me when I call or text him, and when he comes online I will try and talk to him and he won't say anything. Just a few says ago he was nice to me, treating me good, and saying he loves me. Now he is completely ignoring me and he does this often, talking one day and then ignoring me the next. But he has never been this bad, not even speaking to me. I'm crying and don't know what to do, because I'm still in love.

In the writing center lab at my school, there's a really attractive tutor that helps students with their essays and what not. I'm not normally a shy person but around her I am - I can and literally do talk to random people on the street all the time; and no, I'm not crazy just very social. With her however, I was too shy to even talk to her. At the same time, she might be older than; she looks like she's 18 or 19 and I just turned 18 a few days ago. I finally got the courage to talk to her and asked her to join me for lunch after she's done tutoring for the day. Her reply, however, was "I have a boyfriend," but she was nice about it and was smiling. We both laughed and smiled as we said our good-byes. My real question is, do I pursue to get to know her, or is that a sign to just back off? And I really do mean get to know her, not try to steal her from her boyfriend.

this new cute lovely man does exaggrate things especialy financial matters, he says he has a very rich father who will support him and that makes thier family quiet wealthy, it is clear that he comes form a good family but not THAT rich, and for more info. i come from a rich family and people know that, could it be that? why does he exaggrate????????

What do i do????
i sent my ex an email and told him i miss him and i miss us and asked if he felt the same.... he tryed to call me at work and said a different name to the girl who answered the phone but i know it was him(it wouldnt have been anyone else and if it was work related they would have said and he used the name he used to use when he called me). should i email him and ask if he was ringing or should i wait and see if he replys?? or ask him if he called?? coz the girl who answered was an idiot and when she hung up she said bye and said his real name and then hung up on him. so he knows she knew but i dont want him to think i put her up to it......... what do i do??? do i email him again??

do i tell him all my feelings or just ask if we can get back together?

I have trouble with this because men who are "straight" would never even think of going "bi" anything. I am a person of such a curious lifestyle and I find it is very appealing to men. she isn't even fat and she keeps saying she's on a diet. she compares herself to myself and another girl, but we're both almost freakishly skinny. She also complains all the time that she's ugly, we always tell her she's not but it doesn't stop her.

so there's this guy and he's so nice and stuff, and i (was) pretty sure he liked me. but i'm confused. i call him on the phone (usually only once a week), and he always asks me if i will hang out with him and his friends during lunch. okay. so i go over there and then i get sort of nervous and i leave (i don't know if this pisses him off). i told him i was going over to the library. then i gave him a note that says 'you should call me :)'. he hasn't called me, in fact he never calls me, but he acts like he likes me. if he was annoyed by me why would he pick up the phone whenever i call (both have caller ID)? he used to hug me all the time then he tried to (playfully) touch my butt, but i scooted away from him (while laughing) and he hasn't hugged me since. i don't know if he likes me or is just being nice, i don't know what to do??? and i really like him.

One moment he tells me that there will be a chance of us getting together but the next moment he tells me that there will be no chance.

He still replies to my text msgs and will contact me whenever I stop contacting him. He shows his concern for him whenever I'm sick or upset. At other times, He seems uninterested and leaves me alone. Why is he acting this way? From what I know, there is no other love interest in his life and he is NOT a play boy. to hold feelings and thoughts inside for a week even when your mad and really want to talk about them right away? - hubby & i have been mad on and off this week at each other but have really been busy with work and other things to actually sit down and talk things through. on nights that we do have a couple hours after work, he wants to spend time with friends and apart so that he can relieave stress and give us time to think to ourselves. yeah i understand that but is it really fine to hold everything in that long and just act civil with each other untill we can finally unleash all our feelings in one day ?

Over the last five months, an old friend of mine and I have started hanging out again. She's a really nice girl, but I have a major problem. I think I've fallen for her boyfriend. I feel terrible. But the thing that really bothers me is that I think her boyfriend has feelings for me too. For a while, we were really good friends, and then I think we both kinda realised how we felt, and now we barely talk. It's really hurtful. My boyfriend is 22 and I'm 19. I'm an econ major and doing the premed program also, while he is studying to be an electrical engineer. I want to go to the best medical school and become a surgeon one day. We already go to schools in different cities. but somehow we managed to hold on. We see each other every chance we get. But i wonder what would happen after college? I would probably not be as close anymore. I may be so far away from him. I'm very ambitious and so is him. He said that he may move with me to wherever my med school is. Are we just lying to ourselves? Do you think if this will ever work out? I think we love each other. We have been together for more than 3 yrs.
