to hold feelings and thoughts inside for a week even when your mad and really want to talk about them right away? - hubby & i have been mad on and off this week at each other but have really been busy with work and other things to actually sit down and talk things through. on nights that we do have a couple hours after work, he wants to spend time with friends and apart so that he can relieave stress and give us time to think to ourselves. yeah i understand that but is it really fine to hold everything in that long and just act civil with each other untill we can finally unleash all our feelings in one day ?

NO it is never noraml to hold your feelings in all this does is cause you and your body undue stress. The only thing you can do is tell your husband that screw the friends we need to get to the bottom of some of this crap and now is a perfect time. He will rant and rave that he doesn't want to do this but really explain to him that you have been holding this crap in for so long and are ready to explode and explain that you have feeling that e has somestuff to discuss as well. Get everything out in the open until you go over it nothing can get resolved then you are just bent out of shape and secretly pissed at each other. Talk and deal with this, bottled emotions is what causes alot of hostility in marriage and can lead to divorce is that what you want?

God Bless and Good Luck may God shine on you and your husband.

I understand wanting to wait till you can sit down and talk things thru, but i feel that should be the first things-not spending times with the friends-but to answer you r question i think its normal for some people, they just seem to be able to go about daily life without it interfering, i personally cannot do that,,, Either way i doubt it is very healthy-good luck to you

No because it just going to make you resent him more or make you descent from him. I think you should just tell him look I have something to say and you need to sit there and listen and just talk to him unless he the type to rebel and get mad then you should just tell him when he can make time for you, you would like to talk and until he does talk to a friend or something so your not so mad that it makes you sick. Good luck

No, it is not normal.. You should NOt hold back your feelings, concerns, anger etc. in you for too long. Always find time to discuss problems. Go for a car ride with him, stop at a lonely place and discuss your problems. But please get it off your chest as soon as possible.

Whatever discussion going on, make sure it is done professionally, in a matured way and avoid temper as much as possible.

Don't keep it in, but be rational about it. Don't attack, just make your feelings known and discuss what to do about it. Remember, the objective here is to find a solution to whatever issue is making you angry, not attacking your spouse just because misery loves company.
