so there's this guy and he's so nice and stuff, and i (was) pretty sure he liked me. but i'm confused. i call him on the phone (usually only once a week), and he always asks me if i will hang out with him and his friends during lunch. okay. so i go over there and then i get sort of nervous and i leave (i don't know if this pisses him off). i told him i was going over to the library. then i gave him a note that says 'you should call me :)'. he hasn't called me, in fact he never calls me, but he acts like he likes me. if he was annoyed by me why would he pick up the phone whenever i call (both have caller ID)? he used to hug me all the time then he tried to (playfully) touch my butt, but i scooted away from him (while laughing) and he hasn't hugged me since. i don't know if he likes me or is just being nice, i don't know what to do??? and i really like him.

Maybe you should worry less about the mixed messages he's giving you, and focus instead on something you CAN do something about -- the mixed messages you're sending him.

If he's putting the moves on you, however playfully, he wants you for physical reasons. If he's not treating you as a person, he's probably not going to be right for you. Once he gets what he wants, my best guess is, he won't want to have anything to do with you.
It's not your fault, and I'm sure there's nothing wrong with you. If he's sexually attracted to you, there's a reason for it. You don't have to give in, however, hoping that if you do he'll maybe want something more. All I'm saying is, don't give this guy your heart, I don't think that's what he's looking for, and he's bound to break it.
Trust me, I'm a guy.
That's my two cents for ya.

Yeah, just keep mentioning that he should call you. See what he does with that.
