Here's the sitch:I've been dating this guy for over a year now and we love each other very much. 1st prob, there is a 3 yr age gap between us (me being the older of the 2). 2nd prob: Almost a month ago, out of nowhere he decides to up and leave with friends and go over 300 miles away from me..to spend time with friends. No prob. Then, just this past weekend @ 3 in the AM, he calls and after greeting me, says that he thinks we should see other people. I ask why. And he says, he loves me and that he DOESN'T want to see other people but that he's not too sure we can make things work and that he thinks he's losing his freedom. Well, we patched things up and he says that he wants to try and that he loves me very much.
My questions are:
1) I think that his friend (who is jealous he has a g/f) said something to him. He never tells him that I call. What do you think?
2) Do you think that I should try to work things out with him and make the relationship work?

I'm going to the mtns. to get away & celebrate & also plan to go to nearby casinos so figured the $ is for that, as well as birthday. I emailed to say thank you & she said to enjoy the 40 $1 bills! Swear there is only $10, Ihave torn the box apart, tissue paper, etc. to make sure the others are not there. Is it inapproriate for me to bring it up that there is just $10 in the box without seeming unappreciative? She's a bit of an airhead, drinks a lot so I'm thinking it was just a fried brain moment, no biggie.

ok, so I like this girl that is a year younger than me...and she knows, ...problem is she found out from the wrong person...now my friend that told her said that she said no, but he is usually full of it most of the time, also she likes someone else, but idk who, or if it is me....i reallk dont know....should i talk with her tomorrow and tell her how I really feel and give it a shot..i know i have nothing to lose...or should I let her go with out an effort and let her be happy like I want her to be...what do I do???

If it was not planned and it just happened, you worked together and you started having feelings for one another? Is it so wrong? Why should the married person stay with his spouse when he is so much happier with you? If he is unhappy with his life with his wife why should he stay? Other than for his kids and won't they be better off with a happier father?

My bf and I have been 2gether for 1 and a half years. We love one another dearly, but sometimes I feel that he doesnt appreciate me. I like to have fun w/ my friends, but he gets mad when I dont talk to him. He thinks that Im always doing something wrong, and Im not. I feel emotionally drained sometimes and I know that's not healthy. I'm trying to help him get back into college and he's being so negative about that Im just giving up. My husband has been waiting in Guatemala for his papers since Sept. 11. They said 4-6 months... Any ideas of how long it actually takes.

Girls, do you believe that nice guys find it more difficult to attract and then keep a woman?

I consider myself to be an ok looking guy in his 30's with a decent job but when I have a girlfriend the better I treat her the more I seem to be taken advantage of. Should I try to act against my own nature and be a bit tougher. I enjoy paying for meals, buying gifts etc. Is this a turn off?

The more this happens, the more it affects my confidence and self esteem. Will I ever find happiness as I am or should I try and be a bit more mysterious and harder to get and lay off the gifts and meals?

Any advice would be appreciated by this very confused man xx

I talked to this guy in one of my classes for about three months and I really like him, but I don't know if he likes me. It seemed like me liked me by the way he would act around me, but I wasn't sure. Since then, we've switched to another class and barely talk to each other since he's always with his friends, but he looks over at me and tries to talk to me now, but barely. He's incredibly rude to other girls, but really nice to me, which I noticed from the beginning. Even though I talk to people that he basically hates, he still doesn't make fun of me behind my back, but instead lifts me up and calls me smart to other people. One of my friends asked him if he liked me, but he said he only wanted to be friends. Then again, he hates my friend as well..

Obviously, he acts kind of like he likes me..right? Or am I wrong? Does he just want to be friends?

I'm engaged to my girlfriend, Rachel. But, my family doesn't like her. The only people who are nice to her are my mom and my older sister, Jessica. I have had a female friend for some 20 years.

How do I tell her(I will be calling her voicemail tonight to wish her happy birthday) that I will not be contacting her anymore?

Let me rephase my question, Ive been with my man for four years, and our sex life was absolutly amazing. I was totaly into trying new things with him and wasnt shy about it. of the affair. He is going for sole custody of my niece. My question is, does he have a chance of getting it? He works full time, my sister has been a stay at home mom for most of my neices life, but just started working part time a couple of months ago. Guess who she is cheating with? Her boss, who is also married with kids!!! Has anyone been through a similar situation? Know anyone this has happened too. I think it will KILL my sister if she loses her daughter.
