Is the love a forever love or just for awhile? If your not thinking serious like marriage, kids, a house, then keep the friend. Best friends are hard to find!

You need to talk to your friend and ask him/her why they don’t want you to move on with this love in your life if he/she is your “very good friend” like you say then you should be able to work this out so that you don’t have to lose anything. But you have to talk to him/ her with an open mind, don’t be defensive and take what he/she has to say and then talk about it. You can work through it if it is what you want.

you didn't give very much details....but my advice is to chose the one you love. friends are great, but they aren't going to be there forever, they wont start a family with you or anything that someone you love would do, you know. me personally i would pick the friend bc i dont believe in love....i know im bitter!!

You shouldnt have to choose. If your friend is your true friend they should be able to except who you love because thats part of you. And if your love really loves you they should be able to except your friends because your friends are part of you.
