I was over my father's house the other day going through some old paper work of his in a box. As I was looking through it I found his birth certificate and some other legal documents. Turns out that my father was born a woman and had a sex change 3 years after giving birth to me. My father is actually my long lost mother!! For years my father would tell me that my mother left because she couldn't handle the pressures of mother hood, now I find out that my father is really my mother. I am devistated. I don't know what I should do about this. Should I tell my father that I know the truth about his identity or should I just leave it alone?? Help please!

My husband is suing for custody. He has attached to his complaint letters that I wrote when we were married and he was cheating when I talked about how sad I was. That is over a year ago but he is alleging that I am too depressed to keep the kids. He and I have shared the kids 50/50 for almost a year but suddenly I am too depressed to have them?
He got angry because i asked his girlfriend not to spend the night at his house when the kids are there. They have the other half of the month to have all of the sex that they want.
He comes from a family of people who cheat,think that it is OK to leave their familties for extended periods. I didn;t know this before I married him.

I can counter this with evidence about his excessive drinking, his parents mental illness and drinking ( with whom he leaves the kids when he is to have them because he works and travels, how he is under the care of a therapist and how he is violent. He has political goals and this would kill those. Should I?

I have been married almost 17 years. 2 great kids a hubby that will do anything for me and I just want to get in my car and drive. Im 35, never had a real life before marriage. I have found several good friends and we stay out half the night just playing like teenagers. they are all married too. Is it spring fever or a rut? I used to never keep friends because I was always bending over backwards to keep my family happy. I feel like for once in the 17 years I am happier than I have ever been in my life? Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I am, by not being there with my hubby and kids every waking hour.

When I was in my 20s and 30s, and all of my friends were having children, it was a struggle to keep in touch with them. It seemed to me that I always tried, but they stopped bothering. I don’t know if they didn’t have time for anyone , or they just didn’t have time for me, and wanted to spend their time with other people who had children. We may have had different priorities, but it doesn't naturally follow that the friendship needed to end because of it. In our society, in almost always does. Now my best friend (a gay man) is having a child. I'm older now, and more attached to my friendships, and less inclined to let them slip away. What do I need to say to him to let him know that I understand that all he will want to talk about will be babies, and I'm willing to go with that as long as he doesn't feel a need to cut me out of his life because I don't have kids.

There's a guy at work who told me I was too weird for him to be friends with since I was sending him mixed signals about getting with him. The reason I was wavering was because he has a fiancee. I know this because last year I helped him get the engagement ring for her. The thing is she is in another country. Anyway to make the long story short, he asked me to stop texting or emailing him. He even told me he changed his cell phone number, I haven't tried calling him or emailing him and I asked him why we can't just say hi at work. He told me I was too weird to be his friend and that are no hard feelings between us and I should get therapy. I don't think I'm crazy or weird, and people at work are being extra nice which bothers me. Today, I happened to see him flirting with another girl, he knew I saw him and looked over at me. Also, I had to walk past his desk so I could take some books downstairs, but whenever I would come back all of sudden he would have to get up and go to printer.

I became single 6 months ago and started hanging out with some old friends from high school. One of the girls ex-boyfriend use to hang out with us as well. They dated for 4 yrs and have been seperated for a year. The reason they broke up was because she cheated on him with the guy she is with now. Well..me and her ex became friends and started hanging out. We had a good time and I ended up staying at his house and from that point we started to like each other. Well she found out and now we are no longer friends (of course). Her own sister told me that she thought that we would make a cute couple (talk about a good friend). I know what I did was wrong but sometimes in life things happen for a reason and you honestly can't help who you like right?!? What should I do?

im crazy about this girl
i love her
but she lives in the US
and i live in canada
she's about 700km away from me
so not easily seeable
but i think about her all the time
i love her (nothing in my head doubts that for a second)

would a long distance relationship be worth it ?
if you've had experiences - was it worth it ?

We live together, I looked up the history he looked up gay porn three or four days in a row, early in the morning when im still sleeping. He has never shown any signs of being gay. I really like this girl, and I've known her for a year, and we have hung out a couple of times this past month and there was like a week of her calling me which was really cool bcuz I had always called her, but then she just stopped calling me for some reason. she knows I like her, i've been extremely nice to her, I've shown her I like her, I sent flowers to her school on valentines day, and I asked her if she liked me more than a friend she said "I don't know, its hard, I like u as a friend though", I can't stop thinking about her no matter how hard I try. I have trouble sleeping, I feel as though I have no energy throughout the day, My life has had a lot of down moments, I just don't feel hopeful that I will find someone like her again. I know I just need to move on, but its reallly hard. I've been praying that it will get better, and I know it will eventually but its reallly hard right now. what can someone like me do to get over this?
