I'll be the first to admit I have no idea who this Irfan Pathan is or if it is someone famous.
However, if my daughter wanted to marry him and was in love with him, I would feel that it wasnt my place to say anything but congratulations.

As a parent, I take the opinion of my daughter whether she is really in love with the guy and then only I approach the sportsman who likes everyone. Since it is the life settlement of daughter, and her life is more important with security, she is to be asked because she leads most of the life with guy and be happy wherever they be. Hence, any parent has to think on these llines and make their daughters happy.

Go with your gut. Is this a nice man? Can he give your daughter everything she needs? Does she love him? Besides at the end of the day it's your daughters life. If you forbid something that she really wants to do it may cause a riff in your relationship because of your personal prejudice.

I will straight away say no, cause he will be having lots f Girlfriend to be with and also fame is not the only thing required to marry some one. is all about love, believe and respect.
