I say yes. Sometimes we let that person slip away because of our own bad decisions at that particular time. Or our own imaturity. Even with years of passage we hold that person in our hearts. They always seem to have that special place in our hearts. We can't let ourselves dwell on this and stop living... We have to move on, as they most likely have. But yes, In some cases I believe you can continue to love someone. We all grow, we all go through changes in our lives. So, the person you knew at that particular time may be a completely different person now. Think of it that way. You may be holding onto something that doesn't even exist anymore. Keep your good thoughts of this person and move on. Life is funny at times, not ha ha funny, just the way things work out. Hope you find the love of your life. God Bless you.
