It all depends. How many times it happend, and if it only happend in a worse case senario.
My ex hit me on the night we broke up, never before or after. We both were just so out of it, and made with each other. But today we are bestes of best friends, and he will hurt any guy who try and break my heart. My boyfriend as present and this ex of mine became good friends as well.
The thing is I know he is not a bad person, he just had a bad streak. Like all of us do sometimes.
It's still your choice!

Contact like how? My fist contacting the bridge of his nose? Maybe.
Other than that no. I think I'd lay that one down to rest for sure. Once someone is hit then I don't think they can have a relationship on any level. Violence and infidelity are major deal breakers.

No. I had 1 like that and havent spoke to him since the night I left him back 9 years ago. It is best to leave the past in the past especially in that case.

I'm not a girl but.... are you out of your mind? The guy hit you! If you go back after that its like giving him the green light to continue. It doesnt matter the circumstances.
