Don't be sad, I'm just like you having lost them and was not be able to tell them how I felt the love of being their grandson and I just missed them so much now. As I hope to remember them in my heart forever and would cherish their love the rest of my life.

I would tell my maternal Grandfather that he did a really good job raising his daughter. My Mom is one of the nicest people on the planet (and yes, I have met everyone on the planet, so I know -- LOL.)

I would tell my paternal Grandfather that I never knew I would miss him every day of my life. He was a wonderful, kind, loving man.

I am lucky enough that both my Grandmothers are still living (both in their 80s) so I do remember to tell them often how wonderful they are and how much I love them.

My grandmother took me in when I was 9 months old and cared for me as if I were her own. I lost my grandmother when I was 18 years old to breast cancer. I am now 35 years old with three children of my own. I regret her not being alive to see me get married and have my children. I would tell her that I love her and that because of how she raised me I am a good person today and a good mother.
