I made out with my best friends bf a couple nights ago.. (still feel horrible) but i cant stop thinking about him!!... i would break down if i found out he still decides to stay with her.. i feel like S%^# any advice to help me get over this?

A friend from uni is getting married and as she's moving to India shortly after the wedding, she's asked for money rather than actual gifts. I feel a bit uncomfortable giving money anyway and have no idea how much is a reasonable amount - I don't want to look stingy but then I haven't got a lot of money to spend. She told me that she didn't expect me to give her any at all because I was spending so much on travelling up to the wedding and accommodation, but I still think I should give something. Just don't know how much!

my friend is well into this guy she works with. Major flirting going on for ages, he texts her regularly, brings her back a jumper from the states when he goes there etc. He calls her up one night and asks her to come out to the house. Gets there, they kiss (no sex she claims), very respectful. Then nothing for days. Acts like nothing happens in work. Then they kiss each other again. On off kinda thing. He not married, not in relationship. Blows very hot and cold, all intense, then like a stranger. She feels rejected, confused. Whats the probable reason for this behaviour?

she is eight years old and a size 12 uk. she lives with her obese mother and grandmother, we all get on very well, i have told her dad my partner that she needs help and he agrees but he finds it difficult to do anything about it, he says because he doesn't live with her he doesn't have enough influence on her eating habits. i think he is burying his head in the sand . how can i help him to help his ex and their much loved daughter.

Me and my husband dated for more than 4 years before we got married in January. from the beginning we knew we wanted to get married, but we had to wait so I could finish my studies. we lived far apart.we got married on a friday. the next tuesday - the day before our honeymoon - he told me that he had had an affair and that they have a baby girl - she's now 1 1/2 years old. he told me that the woman fell pregnant about the 2nd time they slept together. he did not visit often after she fell pregnant-only to hear if the baby's fine-and during that time they never slept together.what devestated me is the fact that after the baby was born he went to see her and continued the affair for another 4months-one of the main resons he waited so long to propose to me.I still love him but don't know whether to stay or leave-i promised "till death do us part".what confuses me is that if he had told me earlier we would not be married right now.it feels as though everything is a liePlease give advice

I say 'boyfriend' because it doesn't really feel like we are. I have known him for over a year now and we have been together for that long too. I came from a upper middle class family and he is from a very poor single-mother family. He is half white/half black and his older brother raised him because his mom was not there, she was on heroin and with many guys that were complete losers. But I really care about him. His name is anthony. He is not who I would have ever thought I would have chosen. I have suffered from low self-esteem, an eating disorder, depression. He is very poor and so I buy him food, help him out with money and so on. I try to do nice things for him and he has never done anything special for me but he says that he cares about me. I got pregnant and he says that we had to get an abortion..i had a miscarriage. He says we have helped eachother a lot in the past year. He is not in college he works at a hotel. I have a 17 yr. old daughter who has been living with me for over a year now. When her father and I divorced in 2003 she wanted to live with him. Things didn't work out and she came to live with me. We have never went back to court so I could have custody of her. We didn't pay each other child support because one daughter was living with me and one was with him. The daughter that was living with me is now out on her own. This just leaves my younger daughter with me now. In a year, he has never supported her financially. We don't really have the money to hire a lawyer to take him to court for support and custody. What do I have to do to file papers on my own? Where do I go to file papers?

Hi everyone.

Me and my boyfriend of nearly a year broke up yesterday. It had been quite an intense relationship. No cheating but some trust issues made worse by my snooping. I know it was good to get out of the cycle but right up until yesterday we still really cared about each other and loved each others company, we just had bouts of distrust. So...i know it makes sense, but it is my birthday on Friday. We had planned to spend the whole weekend together going for walks and stuff, now i will never see him again and i know it's going to be a miserable birthday. I know if i rang he would spend it with me but i feel like that would be a huge step backwards in getting over him. Any ideas or should I just resign my self to a rubbish birthday!?
