I wouldnt want to have it out in the open because we work together, but I would like to hint that I'm interested to avoid the "friend" zone.

ask him her out for a drink then compliment there looks and tell them they are very attactive

Ask her if she would go out with you on a date. That will give her indication that you are interest and if she agrees then she is prepared to give you a chance of saying what you want to say, or buy her expensive present that will make her understand that as a friend you would not do that.

Uhh... I can't think of anything more ultimately defeatist.
You want to be more than friends right? If you actually DO become more than friends, isn't it going to wind up out in the open anyway?

Ask her out to lunch... give her lots of personal attention, favors, etc. Get your eyes off other ladies so she knows she is special to you. It is really important to be friends, not just moving on to be lovers. Don't omit that stage at all! It is important beyond belief!!

Send her a dozen roses to her home, with a card explaing your feelings for her, & perhaps asking to take her out to dinner on such -a-such date. Make it extremely formal in appearance, if possible.

get closer to them and ask them a few questions about their intrests in people. hopefully they will get closer to you and wonder the same bout you and it could kind of come out. OR tell a bigmouth and word will get round without u telling them personally!
