Are you sure you really want to do this. 7/8 years is a long time and so much could have happened in his life. Is it not better just to be happy with the memories and leave it at that.
You obviously have a very romantic idea of what life was like then for you both, and believe me, if you meet up again, the chances are the bubble will totally burst! Although, maybe I'm being too cinical!
If you do try to regain contact then good luck, but go into it with your eyes open and don't expect to meet up with the same guy. We all have first loves and what makes them so special is just that - 'first love'!! If you don't want to lose the memories, don't get in touch.
Hope that makes sense!!

Try something like friendsreuinted, you can search for the surname Moreton in the Somerset area, if you know his age it should narrow down the search, or if you have any other details like where he went to school/ worked etc you could try posting message on the school site on friends reunited asking him to get in touch or if anyone knows his whereabouts. Do u know where he lived? He could still live at the same address so it would be worth trying directory inquiries, it might be a long shot but you may get a result.

Try Friends Reunited, you will be able to search through different routes. I found my first love after 27 years, I just wanted to know that he was OK and thought that maybe we could be friends, that was almost 4 years ago and we have been now living together for 3 very happy years.
I searched by name, then narrowed it down with the details I could remember, ie his old school, etc. Good Luck

Don't bother to waste your time! 7 to 8 years is a long time and people change! Better to keep the good memory than to meet again and have them crushed!

If you know where he is from try finding a local paper that has an "I saw you" section. For example go to www.portlandmercury.com to that section to see an example of what I am talking about. My step dad helped my mom change a flat tire when they met and they got reconnected through something like this.
You can also try MySpace. Good luck!!!

unfortunately i agree with some of the others..........keep the memories. 7/8 yrs is a long time and so much could have happened in his life. if you loved him so much why not try to get back in contact a yr or 2 after...........to leave it 7/8 yrs is just distancing yourself from getting the chance to make contact again.
also.....how can you not know the name of your first love??!?!!?!?!!?!
