she still loves me alot it's just that it's almost as if we're only going through the motions at this point is there anything i can do to get her more into it (we're waitin till marriage for all y'all in the gutter haha)

I told a girl I like her and she didn't really say yes or no so nothing happened. A few weeks went by and we eventually started to get a long very well and after spending some time together she tells me she wants to go out sometime. After three or four attempts on my part to schedule a time to get together it still hasn't happened. She still acts all cheery around me if I stop to talk to her but overall I feel ignored. She doesn't really talk to me and never calls.

Why would she tell me she wants to go out if she really doesn't? At this point I'm tempted to ignore her just to see if I get a reaction.

The question was based on the fact that people seem less cooperative, flexable and williing to compromise with each other. In the past years people were more willing to work out what seem to be minor issues and shortcomings. Maybe some of this comes from our fast paced living?

This girl i like is moving away and she only has 2 days left in school and when my friends try to force me to talk to her they bug her and i dont like it.
But evertime they bug her she wants to talk to me but i think they are just joking.
So one day my friend hector went to her and told that i wanted to talk to her.
And so i saw her and she was waiting for me and i ran waway scared to even pass by her.
And other times it seems she likes me.
And once my other friend ines told her things that i wanted to tell her for me but i didnt say it. and she asked if it was a joke or for real.
And i said it was just a joke.
What do i do somone please help me she leaves this friday and some other girl i secretly like is helping me write a note to her is that a good thing or bad.

I'm living at home, but I really want to move out and live with my best friend in her new apartment, but there are some problems that I'm unsure about. She lives in Texas and I live in New Jersey, so it'd be kind of a hard move for someone who's never really left home before. The thought of leaving kind of scares me and I'm not really sure what I should do first about it. Also, I'm really concerned about leaving my dad alone by himself. My mom died when I was 15 and he hasn't remarried or dated. I'm an only child, so it's always just been him and myself, though my aunt and grandmother live nearby.

Money isn't really too much of an issue in this situation, but I am so lost about what to do. I really do want to live with my friend since I really want to be able to do things with her and I don't want to be living at home my entire life, but I'm just don't know how I'm going to pull the trigger and just do it.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any advice? Please help!

I met this guy 3 years ago through work. We were totally different people, me shy, him full of confidence. At the time I wasn't really into him as he was immature, but he liked me alot and i thought i should give it a go when he asked me out. He was my 1st boyfriend so i was inexperienced, and it only lasted a week because he was so hopeless at keeping in touch, i couldn't read him at all and i didn't know him very well so i dumped him. 3 years later we are really close friends but i know he still likes me. Alot. I have had numerous boyfriends since and he has always been there. Lately I have been thinking about him as more than a friend but it's not as easy as just telling him. We always argue, he still SUCKS at communication, we have completely different veiws on alot of things (from politics to fashion), and he doesn't get me when i'm not feeling 100% (he's always happy aparantly). Sometimes he drives me nuts! But I cant stop thinking bout him. Will a relationship ruin what we have?

I was homeless and went to my bio sisters for help. I was reluctant due to their past history of being dishonest and just plain biotches! They promised me everything and I fell for it. Now I work at the same place as one of them and she is making my workplace negative by bearing false witness, lies and deceit. What is the most Christian way of handling this? She is prompting my supervisor to question my performance and threat me negatively.

You know how when ur friend is upset you want to comfort her right?

well its hard for me, in a normal situation I could make her laugh and stuff, but the minute she's feeling downright sad I freeze up. Cuz i know that one wrong word I can make her feel worse.

All I can do is to nod and agree with her and stop talking then my friend looks at me weirdly and say i should act normal BUT its HARD!! I mean i don't want to say or do somthing that will make her more upset!

any ideas on how to not freeze up and act normal and know what i can and cannot say in those situations??

My daughter seperated from her husband about 4 months ago and he is obsessed he took two of my grandchildren and refused to bring them back unless my daughter will take him back. He has left threatening phone messages, he has told my grandchildren that we do not want them anymore, he is on drugs and is currently on probation for this reason. The law will not do anything because they are in his possession and after listening to the phone messages they advised my daughter to go to the courthouse immediately and file for temporary custody, she went to the courthouse and the clerk advised her that she had to obtain a lawyer and we cannot afford that. They all agree that isn't right but that it is only mental abuse, if it was physical they could go get the children. I have contacted so many people pleaing for their help in this matter, I think that it is terrible that a childs custody is determined by possession rather then what is best for the child. Any suggestions? Thanks you.

When I turned 17 the control started. I was a senior in high school and I wasnt allowed to go anywhere. I became very withdrawn and lost all my friends. She used to hang up the phone on my friends and tell them that I wasnt there. I went off to college then when I came home on spring breaks she used to walk down the stairs every couple of hours to see if I was there. When I was 20 just about had it and then I went out anyway. She then threw my stuff on the lawn because I was doing my own thing. She was treating me like a 10 year old. I almost quit school because I just wanted to move out. As I got older it got worse. She blocked the door from letting me leave. I ended up going on antidepressants because she made me feel so depressed. I had a sister a year older and didnt give her a problem. I came back home from college at 22 and have had problems mentally ever since. I tried counseling but she went only once. She tells me now that I was born with depression.

My husband and I are supposed to go to a wedding of family friends (his side of the family).
However, we can't go as we had already booked and paid for a holiday during the time of the wedding.
His side of the family are harassing us saying that we have to buy a present for the bride and groom.
I don't think we should as we are not going to the wedding. I didn't expect people to buy me a gift when they couldn't attend my wedding.

Hi everyone, my girlfriend and I had sex last weekend. We did use contraception except that we found out the condom was broken a tiny bit. It was her 2nd week into her period. The problem is that now she is no longer having her "white menstruation", which is the sticky white-ish yellow saliva in the vagina. Ever since we had sex it has been watery instead. Does this mean that her period will not come and she has indeed conceived or is it just an effect of a lot of sex?

Last night I was playing with my 21 month old daughter and it hit me.....I love her, more than anything in the world, so much it moves me to tears, so much I would sacrifice my own happiness to see her smile, to hear her laugh. She's everything in the world to me. I'm not happy with much else in my life, but she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She's so smart and beautiful and caring and sweet, and of course I would say this, I'm her mommy, but I can't get over this feeling. I mean, I've always loved her, I would have done anything for her from the moment I found out I was pregnant, but never in my life have I imagined being able to love someone that much. I'm not an overly emotional person, I almost never talk about loving someone, but with her, I can't help it. Is this a normal mom reaction or am I missing so much else in my life that I'm projecting all the happiness I have onto her? I don't want to burden her with any more than life might give her.
