I have been with him for almost 3 years but I can't be with him anymore. His temper is getting out of control. I love him but I can't handle the relationship right now, I think I just need some space. I'm scared of telling him b/c I know he loves me to death, and if I break up with him he will be so hurt, and I dont want to hurt him, but I cant take it anymore. What should i tell him? What should I do??

I know that seemed really rude of me to say- and it was, but I had to get you to read this somehow. Ok, what I want to ask is if all wives are the way I see them. I want to be equal with my wife and make decisions together based on our combined strengths- to compliment each other. To work well together. Maybe this is idealistic of me, because it seems like all the marriages I see the men just sorta "yeah whatever" everything and the woman is a tyrant. He kinda just does whatever she says, 'or else'. I really, really don't want that. Am I dreaming or do I just need to do a good job searching? I'm a very good guy and feel I really understand how to work well with another equally good woman. I have never ever seen a marriage not like the one I've just described though....so you tell me what I'm lookin at. Thanks.

were both 17. this girl has pillow fights with me, puts her photo into my phone as wallpaper, calls up my friends, even parents for jokes, even though i dont find it amusing, always laughs at my jokes, she gets very close to me, and wont move away.....and likes to touch me alot, and play with things i have. i get mixed signals though, as sometimes during the day she wont talk to me at all, cause she studies, but when were together she cant stop talking, and offering me food, and drinks, and going out places.One thing she does alot is curls up and goes to sleep for like a minute,and then wakes up, and does it again......whats all this mean???she also tells me about times when shes stressed at school and so forth....one thing thats really wierd though, she likes to know what her name is on my phone when it rings???.........need help, im from canada btw guys. I decided to talk to the girl I miss and tel lher how I really feel about her, how I want us to be friends again. The only thing is that I love her. I implied I was in love with her the last time we talked (online), saying "peope do stupid things when they're in love." She said " YOU WAS NOT IN LOVE, so dont say that, stop talking like that!" Since then we haven't talked in a long time (months), I gave her space. How many time have you heard some grandparents rant about how it's their job to spoil their grandkids. I'm not questioning their love which is undeniable, definitely questioning the sense of the statement. Spoiled is ruined, and grandparents that do are just Grams and Gramps as the word parent gets removed from their names.

I am really suffering this guy I met in texas we instantly fell in love and we went out for 3 months we had a long distance relationship he came to my city for my birthday and I went there just to see him. i am really getting tired of this kid chris he is the most...i cant even say anything about him without getting reported but he is really annoying and i have been putting up with it for more than 3 months. here's what i hate about..... him he's a poser(he's a full on redneck and tries to be a rocker), he wont shut up when i'm trying to do my school work, and the class i have with him is a computer class and i will be nearly finished with my work and he restarts my computer before i save any of it so all my class work has been lost. i want to know if i should beat the living s*** out of him.

First off, I love my inlaws as people and they think the world of me, but they still drive me nuts sometimes.

They are messy people. They live on a farm, and the house looks like the barn. Dirty dishes, dogs running crazy, tons of cats in the garage, garbage piled up.

I have put in a lot of time around the farm with construction projects, even though my wife and I live 1 1/2 hrs away. The inlaws do appreciate this.

Recently I re-drywalled and painted a spare room in the house for my wife and I to stay in when we visit. This was after the roof leaked and ruined the ceiling in the room. We brought our own bedding, etc to furnish it.

The 4 dogs in the house tore up the bedding, and the inlaws did nothing to stop them or keep them out of the room I refinished. I didnt say anything to the inlaws but they knew I was p*ssed off.

My wife has big plans for me to redo other rooms of the house-- painting, ripping up floors.

Do I have a right to be irritated and stop the projects?

If I'm not a nervous wreck enough about the possibility of him going overseas now I just have more to worry about! My husband & I have been married 10 years but have pretty much always split our finances. He covers mortage, car payments, car insurance and I cover utilities, kid's expenses, groceries. He's in the Nat'l Guard and been put on alert (not activated yet) but he is not making any plans to leave me anything financially and just tells me he will make sure all the bills are paid automatically. I talked to him about a power of attorney and he doesn't want to do that. Honestly I don't think he trusts me! What if something happened? What if the bank screws up and a car payment doesn't get made and they come to take my car...any advice? He makes 3x what I do and I depend on him financially at times to fill in the gap.
