If 2 consenting adults are attracted to each other why do people think it's so wrong to have sex regardless of age, marital status, etc?

Because their ability to reason independently never existed in the first place, and even if it had, it would have been squashed out of them by being brought up by people with the same problem. And so it goes...
Also it's rather pointless asking for reasons, because the best you're going to get is rationalizations.

Well you seem mature so you know there's a lot of emotions involved when it comes to sex. When it's all said and done someone is gonna want more. There's a possibility of pregnancy and diseases. That's the main reason why people are cautious about it. When having casual encounters with someone who's married you know that's asking for it. People are trying to do the right thing because they've experienced bad things in the past. You reap what you sew. If you find someone who's of age and cool with it do your thing.

Just because the girl fell for the guy at the time doesn't mean the guy felt the same. So realistically, most people don't have beef with the idea.

Well if your married you took vows to be with that one till death do you part .Age are you a pedophile or are you talking of TRULY CONSENTING ADULTS 18+ if that's your Q then there nothing wrong with two truly consenting adults

Society has certain rules which may b dictated by culture, traditions or religious beliefs. There are certain societies where incest is OK. And some cultures allow the brother in law to sexually relate with his brother's wife when his brother is away for extended period.
