Not always, it could also mean that your relationship has just moved to a different stage, like your not "hot" all the time, or you need to find more interesting ways make each other want it, it could mean something really bad though like he's getting it from somewhere else, (maybe) but no it doesnt mean its dead your relationship should not be ALL about sex and if it is then thats not good, and what kind of a relationship was it to begin with?

Noy necessarily. It really depends on how much sex was being had in the first place. If it was infrequent, chances are the answer to your question is yes. If you frequently had sex, it might just be that the "honeymoon" aspect of it being new and exciting is over. Nothing wrong with that. But if it stays dull too long one of you will most likely seek satisfaction from someone else.

Hi Noodles. No, it does not. As in many areas of our lives, sex settles into a routine. During courtship, and, into early marriage, their is an elevation of adrenalin, that increases the heart rate, causes rapid breathing and heightens awareness. There is also an infusion of endorphins and dopamine, which activate and stimulate the pleasure centers of the brain. So, there is not only a emotional response and attraction to our partner, but, physical and chemical changes, as well. These chemicals are also present while a person seeks excitement during the activity of gambling, problem shopping, etc. That is why problem gamblers seek greater risk, to maintain these chemical responses (that require more chemicals, to keep up the level of excitement). Like many other chemicals (drugs) your body adjusts to these levels, and, it requires more chemicals, to maintain a level that your body is used to functioning under. If you cannot maintain these levels, you will suffer withdrawal, like any other drug. So, since these chemicals (drugs), that our own bodies regularly produce, aid us in attraction, excitement and passion for one another, these chemical levels must also be maintained. But, like any other form of stimulation, excitement levels adjust as we become more familiar with each other. There is a lower level of attraction, and, we settle into a routine. But, there are a wide variety of ways to rekindle that excitement, that we had in the beginning! And for many, it is the desire to rekindle that excitement, that is the first step to a long and loving relationship. I hope this answers your question. If not, feel free to contact me.

Good luck, and God Bless!

Not necessarily, but it does mean that the sex has become boring, and this is Not Good. Try something mad and unusual for you. Be unpredictable; jump on top; get a vibrator and get him to use it on you; use it on him; dress up weirdly; talk dirty. Try new things, or even a threesome, or swap with another couple. Be daring. If none of this works, get a lawyer - you may need one.

hmm...depends on how big the decline is. But it doesn't necessarily mean the relationship is dead...maybe it's just that you guys don't depend on sex as much anymore as you used to. and the relationship is maturing....

No. It only is if thats all the other person wanted from you in the first place. Which in my opinion is not a relationship to begin with. Its more like a fling and thats it.
