I started talking with someone whom I went to school with, we hit it off almost immediately and after a month we met face-to-face. The chemistry was profound and we were having a great time then he supposedly had a mishap arise while attempting to stop by he never called to advise me though. The next day I called him and he said he didn't want to call and upset me (not calling did that immensley). Now we're not talking, I tried talking with him but he rushes me off the phone so I said I understood and would leave him alone he said that's not it he just needs to get his head straightened out but it won't change us in anyway or what we had begun. Why is he rushing me off the phone and avoiding me, he also has a personals ad running, if he wants me?

When in love (true love, I mean), you will do anything for the other person......You would deny the truth (love is blind), you'd doubt yourself, You'd give your all to see them happy, even if it meant sacrificing your own happiness. The truest form of love is self sacrifice. Your love knows no boundaries, no limits, no bars.....It is infinite.

But now comes one of the hardest questions of all:

would you let them go if you had to even if you both still loved each other and did not want to lose each other?

This is by far one of the hardest things to do when you love someone truly....

and why would you do this for them if this was not what either of you wanted (but it is just the better thing to do for some reason, or you just have to for some reason)....

Tell me in detail, please!

I go to one of the best schools in the US and the only reason being because i want to make my parents happy. i really dont want to go here and i dont know how to tell my parents that because they [along with my family] are proud of me. i also would feel like i didnt accomplish anything...

My parents recently told me and my little brother and sister they decided to get a divorce but I am really having a hard time with it. To make matters worse two months before I lost my grandfather to cancer and this all started to get bad around that time. I am closer to my dad then my mom but I can not go live with my dad. How should I try to accept the fact they are getting a divorce and I can't live with my dad?

Hi, I am studying in the best Uni in UK postgraduate, and my life is a complete mess, honestly don't know what to do about it.

I am doing a postgraduate course in the best university in London and now I have meat an amazingly hot student whom i was dating and having sex with for the last month. However I feel that it has taken away my focus from my studying and that i can't work anymore on my exam preparation. The guy is also studying very hard and we are both seem to be having problems because we don't have time to spend with each other, we need to concentrate on school, we are loosing focus, seems like i loose it more than the guy..
Anyway the guy is an international student, he is likely to live in june after exams back to his country. Is it worth me getting into relationships with him and falling in love when he is probably leaving?
How do I deal with it? I can't stop thinking about the guy, even when i am suppose to study, what shall i do? Do I need to break up with him?

I have been dating my boyfriend for almost three years and plan on getting married in about 3 or 4 years. His brother has been dating a girl from my high school graduating class. Her and I have never been really close but when I first started dating my boyfriend she was all for it. Then she got mad at me for some really stupid reasons. Well I came to her and we worked things out and now she is doing it all over again, the bad mouthing, the dirty looks, making me feel really uncomfortable at my boyfriends parents house. I just don't know how to deal with her. And I know that if things get fixed she will go back to this way again. I just really need help with this because it is really effecting me and my boyfriend. He gets just as upset over it as I do. How do I deal with a person like her?

I joined eharmony- and I must be very compatible,because in the month before I became a paid member,and the month after, I've gotten over 200 matches.BUT, most of them are creeps!I mean, they have a prison photo posted, or no pic at all.OR in their profile, the don't give hardly any real answers to the questions,and a few guys even said "I'm passionate about "F----", or "I like my woman to be hot and ready to clean my house".OR "I'm most thankful for my best friend who can party like no other MOFo", or "I aint got no favorite book, but I like that one movie where the girl looks real fine", and other stupid stuff.I don't understand why they keep matching me with these idiots.I mean, I thought all the profiling stuff was supposed to weed out the whackos.Has anybody had good dates or encounters other than the "OMG we met and it was so great and now we're engaged" crap on the commercials? I work in an office with all women, no men at all. One of the ladies is getting ready to have a birthday so they're going to throw her a surprise birthday party. The problem I have with it is that it's going to be a "s** toy party", where somebody comes in to sell "toys". That kind of stuff offends me and I absolutely do NOT want to go. I will not have any fun and I'd be miserable if I went. I keep telling them I don't want to go, but they just keep on and on about it and act like it's just horrible that I don't want to go.

First, don't you think it's kind of odd that a group of women would have a s** party?? Second, how can I get these people off my back and respect my wishes? I just want them to shut up about it!!!

My wife, daughter, and I live with my mother-in-law and she is insane; my wife constantly tells me to just put up with her "you know how she is thing", but I think that is BS. She swears and name calls in front of daughter no less. After my wife and I got out of the military we planned on staying there until we finished college well I graduated a year ago and my wife graduates in the spring and has no intentions of leaving.
