instead of divorcing? Is it because deep down they can't let go? Is it for religious reasons? It seems like it would complicate things. If you meet someone new, you are still legally married. If something ever happened to you, unless there is a will, the significant other has no rights because he or she isn't your spouse. If it's over and you are living like a single person anyway, why not just get divorced?

Ok well one of my BEST FRIENDS EVER is pretty much a slutt. She cheats like ALL THE TIME! Everyone is always talking about her calling her a cheater and a total ho. I don't know if I should give up trying to take up for her and just agree with them (because I know it is true I just dont want to admit it) or if I should try to stick up for her! Do you think she is a HO?? Should I keep taking up for her?

n 02 we got engaged. i decided to live with him in his mums house for 7 years which we had all to are selves because she lived abroad. this year she decided to turn up and stay for a year along with his 42 year sczo brother. i do not live with him at the moment because it was living hell. he is talking about converting part of the house for us to live in seapartly 6 months ago and nothing has happened. He now saying that we should get married soon and everything else should fall into place. even if this means living with my parents whilst were married. i am not in the position to buy my own house nor is he at the moment.ive been with this guy for 8 years i am attractive but not mentally strong.

I am 13 and I am trying to eat healthy,and I am trying to get my mom to do the same thing.We made an agreement on not eating or drinking certain things.She promised me she wouldn't drink Coke,but she keeps buying a 12 pack every week.Today I took some and hid it in my room,so she couldn't find it.I don't know what to do.She isn't that healthy,and I want to fix that.Plus I'm trying to get her to stop chewing ice.Its just causes her more pain.I've tried talking to her,but it doesn't work.What would you do?

This guy is just amazing. I have been dating him for about 7 months now. He has never done anything wrong. He is really the perfect boyfriend. Well then something overcame me, and I just slept with everyone that I could. It turns out i had sex with 6 people in a week. How do I tell him. calls and screams and curses, I've been with him for over a year, he has been divroced from his first wife for 8 years and has a son in college, my guy is a hard worker and reserved and wants nothing to do with this woman but he has to because of the baby, she is threatening with taking him to court again, she has 3 other kids from other men, my guy is the only one paying because he has a steady job. he works as a law enforcer, so he can not do much because he can lose his job, he has other bills to pay, her eldest sons (17 & 19) are drop outs and have crim records, so he tries not to go becuase they instigate, so if he goes to visit the child (14 months) poor child, but he regrets getting involved with her..but thats life, I try to endure it but after talking to her he gets so upset, he'll be going to court 4 visitations, she doesn't let him take the baby out of the house when he visits, she threatens w restraining orders and w/draws them, she's psycho! Everything is $$ what? Help..

Where are her grandparents, aunts, uncles...SOMEONE who she loves and respects that she doesn't want to disappoint? We all need that someone to hold us accountable...If she has no one....how sad and shame on her parents for not helping her nurture such relationship when she was young. We all get miguided sometimes... and especially at her age.... She will look back one day and realize the mistakes she made...especially where the babies are concerned. Unfortunately, regret doesn't make up for lost time... I feel bad for her...

I had sex with my ex last night, and it was the best sex that we had ever had ever, even better than when we were together for 8 years. He says that he is not seeing anyone at the moment but is meeting new people.

We have put some boundaries on the situation like:

1. If anyone of us gets in to a serious relationship then we will cease having sex.
2. We do not tell anyone that we are doing it.
3. We don't communicate with each other unless its for another meet (thats a hard one)

Do you think that this scenario can work out?

Why did the affair go on for weeks, months, or even years? Did you block out the guilt? Rationalize your actions? Or was it jusr easier to continue after the 'line' was crossed the first time? When did this bridal shower thing get so big. I am talking about a bridal shower for the bride where they expect gifts off of their wedding registery... I undertstand the personal bridal shower with the fun gifts, but I am preparing for a friends wedding where she expects gifts from her wedding registery for her bridal shower and her wedding. I got gifts at my wedding...I had no other shower that I was registered somewhere for... Since when do we have to provide 2 gifts for the happy couple???

I have been married for about a year now. Yesterday a good friend of mine contacted me. This friend used to be a guy who I had a thing with when I was single. He starts telling me how I would be so Happy if I would have given him a chance . He also told me how he loved me and always wanted to be with me.
Then the worst part is he says" The real reason you married him is because your comfortable not in love" <--- that made me feel terrible I felt as if he was right....

My question is how do I know if that is true? How do i differentiate comfort from love?

My crush "Bill";D the other day decided during our 4th period class to write "Bill Hearts u" on my hand. This was after me and my friends decided to write up and down his arms. He only did this to me! So I was kinda flirting with him all of that period and he was touching me to see if i was ticklish! I started taking his stuff and me and my friend went into his mom's classroom during lunch. I decided to leave early so i go hang out with my other friends so they wouldn't get mad for me not knowing where i was. I am 16(or will be feb.25th)and i have not had my first kiss yet.it may seem weird but when i like a girl i only like her and i never think of any other girl even if we arent in a relationship.What should i do about a girl that just doesnt want a relationship with anyone right now but i am totally into her?we talk for nearly 3 hours a day over AIM and i see her at at school and stuff but she just wants to be friends for right now but she also said she might want a relationship later on.She is the only girl in my grade i like(the others are immature).I just moved from texas to new york and the education level is different,new york is one year ahead of texas so im stuck in 9th grade with the 14 and 15 year olds.Should i try to like other girls,and if so then what age and what grade.I am more popular with the older kids than the younger because i am on the varsity basketball team and the tallest in the school.Would this make a difference also?girls confuse me so much
