Why did the affair go on for weeks, months, or even years? Did you block out the guilt? Rationalize your actions? Or was it jusr easier to continue after the 'line' was crossed the first time? Or was your affair partner "crazy" and you were afraid they would go ballistic if you ended it? Please answer honestly.

my ex carried on this affair right under my nose, i could tell he was emotionally not there, he never seemed sorry, had so many justifications for it, in the end said our ten year marriage was all bad, even though it had not been. think his partner ran the show, and had alot of influence on him. he never once said he was sorry, never once showed any emotion at all. it was as if our ten year marriage never meant a thing to him.
