I had sex with my ex last night, and it was the best sex that we had ever had ever, even better than when we were together for 8 years. He says that he is not seeing anyone at the moment but is meeting new people.

We have put some boundaries on the situation like:

1. If anyone of us gets in to a serious relationship then we will cease having sex.
2. We do not tell anyone that we are doing it.
3. We don't communicate with each other unless its for another meet (thats a hard one)

Do you think that this scenario can work out?

What are your experiences?

Oh ok now, the sex just opened up old wounds, now we are not talking to each other anymore. So I don’t recommend doing this anymore. So no, it can’t work.

It sounds as if you are both just waiting for something better to come along. So right now you are wasting your time and effort on this one. This is not going work out , all you have to do is read, what you have told us! Go out and meet some new friends!

Your setting yourself up for failure. It's hard for women to just have sex with a man with out any feelings - let alone your ex. If I was you I would stop - in his mind he like why buy the cow when I can get the milk for free. He's not seeing anyone now but what happens when he meets someone. I know what you say but look it at like this: If he meets someone new and really likes them he doesn't have to pressure them for sex or make them feel like that is something important to him. He can continue to sex you and maintain a new relationship with someone he actually likes to be with. Trust me, he's not going to tell you about her and she will NEVER know about you.
Why would you settle for less?

Yes I do it. An old girlfriend just split with her husband. She said she needed cheering up what could I do. It was great and I lost 4lbs. Entertainment with a bonus i saw her today I wish I could have bottled the feeling. Do you know what I mean?

Those boundaries, if you stick to them, should prevent any confusion or misunderstadnings.
