stuck for words?

My mom has a friend that always gave us a gift for christmas, was rely nice to us, and always was a kind as could be.
two years ago she was diognasted with cancer, now the doctors are say she has about 2 months too live. What do i say on the card(it will be home made.)

please anwser this relly means alot!

or

something simple, ok? but sweet.
