I bet half of you have cheated on somebody or slept around. Yet you have this attitude about sacred marriage and all that bunk. Could it be that you guys are hypocrites?

Hypocrisy? On Yahoo? That's like suggesting there's hypocrisy in Washington D.C.!

Well, guess you are one who thinks that only a perfect person has the right to say anyone else is wrong. Too bad that is bunk. Last I checked, no one is perfect, yet that doesnt give any relief to so many who have no care if they do wrong or refuse to accept or admit to themselves when they are doing wrong.

Now, marriage is sacred, not because of anything we think or say, but because God said he holds it to be so. Big difference. What we think or like or say or agree with, makes no difference to God. He has a right to set his own standards and to hold us to those standards, even if we dont like or accept them.

Now, I am sure, as studies have confirmed, that there probably are about half the people in the country who have been immoral sexually, in one form or another. But then that is no suprise with the silly liberal attitudes that are common today. Hey, today is a time when people think that right and wrong are simply matters of what they like or approve of, or what they dont.

Being judgmental. Nothing wrong with that. We are to look at people and how they act, in order to make a good decision as to who we should and should not allow in our lives or to have influence over us. We are also told that we should not put trust in untrustworthy people.

Now, I will freely say that I find many to be very hypocritical. Yet I also say freely that so many who object to anyone being hypocritical are also being an ***. For they seem to try to tell themselves that simply because a person does wrong, means they have no right to tell another when that person is wrong. If you are one who does this, you are simply trying to find an excuse to keep from hearing that you are wrong about something.

Bitter? Well, some people are bitter, for they have taken others at their word and had a reasonable expectation to have that person to follow through on what they said. Some people expect other people to be mature adults, not simply those who seem to think that whatever they like or want is okay.

I am not bitter or judgmental. I was taught right from wrong and how to treat people the way I would want to be treated. I'm sorry if honesty offends you, but there is no gray area when it comes to marriage. If you promise to commit to someone, you are either honorable enough to keep your promises or you are a liar and not trustworthy - plain and simple. The only people that get offended by truth are those that cannot tell the truth!

I have slept around before I met my husband and I learned from that experience. I refuse to do that to the man I love and treasure, the father of my son. Hypocrites, no. Maturing adults who learned from past mistakes trying to pass on that knowledge to others, yes.

I've never cheated on a boyfriend or my ex husband, I never "slept around" although I did have ONE one night stand. So nope I'm not a hypocrite...could it be that YOU'RE guilty and are looking for excuses?

You bet half of us have done that?
Talk about bitter and judgemental--you are obviously no better than whoever judged you.
Grow up and move on with your life.
Also, learn that some people have higher standards.

Sounds like you are the bitter one. If you are being this nasty because you can't stand your wife, why not get a divorce?
