I have been dating my boyfriend for almost three years and plan on getting married in about 3 or 4 years. His brother has been dating a girl from my high school graduating class. Her and I have never been really close but when I first started dating my boyfriend she was all for it. Then she got mad at me for some really stupid reasons. Well I came to her and we worked things out and now she is doing it all over again, the bad mouthing, the dirty looks, making me feel really uncomfortable at my boyfriends parents house. I just don't know how to deal with her. And I know that if things get fixed she will go back to this way again. I just really need help with this because it is really effecting me and my boyfriend. He gets just as upset over it as I do. How do I deal with a person like her?

Tell her to shape up or ship out. This is the real world and she has no right, for whatever personal reason, to affect your relationship with your future in-laws. Discuss this with your boyfriend's family so they will know what is going on. Who knows, they might actually make matters better by talking to her about it.

Wow - strange girl. Is she scared that you might be more liked and appreciated in his family then she? She sounds shaky to say the least and insecure as I am sure you know that.

You and ur man can sit with his brother and his girl and talk it out and on the table. Make sure you DO NOT say Anything offensive as that will be used against you (ammo for her). Be the polite/good one therefore you and your man are obviously in the right and everything she says will rebound and it will make her sound like the jealous girl that she is.

I am not saying point out her short comings but be eager to nip this in the bud and from the root. And make sure she understands that if it happens again then y'all won't be able to hang out with her - and she'll know why.

Don't bad mouth her though it'll only hurt you and you are entitled to stay happy. Don't allow anyone to take that away from you.

you should be greatful that you not married to your boyfriend yet and your ex friend not married to his brother... so good news is that htere is no Sister-in-laws involved.. smiling..

What you can do is let her talk and let her compalin and let her do what ever she want.. They will notice that you not said one freaking word about her then it will be the best thing why the brother might dump her and wanted you.. so be ready if that happen smiling..

Ignore her. She's probably just jealous of your happiness and closeness with you future in-laws. Then again she could want your man instead of the one she's got and she's trying to get rid of you so he'll be available. Whatever her problem is don't let it bother you.

When you are likely to see her, bring along a spray bottle filled with water, like something you'd use to wash windows. Don't speak to her at all. If she glowers at you or tries talking to you, spray water at her face.

It works on cats too.

YOU AND YOUR BOYFRIEND NEED TO SIT DOWN WITH THEM AND TRY TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS. EXPLAIN THAT DOWN THE ROAD YOU MAY ALL BE RELATED AND NEED TO WORK ON GETTING ALONG. HERE EACH OTHER OUT AND COMMUNICATE. IF YOU CAN,T WORK IT OUT THEN JUST BE YOUR SELF WITH YOUR BOYFRIEND AND JUST LEARN TO IGNOR THEM.

Avoid her. She is not your sister in law. Relationships break up and soon you'll be rid of her.
