I joined eharmony- and I must be very compatible, because in the month before I became a paid member, and the month after, I've gotten over 200 matches.BUT, most of them are creeps!I mean, they have a prison photo posted, or no pic at all.OR in their profile, the don't give hardly any real answers to the questions, and a few guys even said "I'm passionate about "F----", or "I like my woman to be hot and ready to clean my house".OR "I'm most thankful for my best friend who can party like no other MOFo", or "I aint got no favorite book, but I like that one movie where the girl looks real fine", and other stupid stuff.I don't understand why they keep matching me with these idiots.I mean, I thought all the profiling stuff was supposed to weed out the whackos.Has anybody had good dates or encounters other than the "OMG we met and it was so great and now we're engaged" crap on the commercials? I mean, has anyone had a nice coffee date with a non-creep and started dating or become friends?

To Cdub or whatever your name is- I have a perfectly intact set of social skills. I'm a professional and very busy, and I just don't have time for going out and spending all the energy looking for someone. I have a friend who met her husband through another online dating site, but that site seemed too full of whackos too. It just seems to me, that if I'm a fairly attractive, intelligent, and friendly woman, that would give online dating a go, there should be some equally attractive, intelligent and friendly man out there who would try it too. I'm just looking for some evidence of that theory by asking this question. Because so far, my experience is proving me wrong.

To matt, no I don't want a jerk. Actually I think my problem is, my personality profile says that I get along with lots of different people, and I have an open mind. Which is true to an extent. In my job I have to get along with all kinds of characters- and I appreciate different lifestyles and points of view. But I do have a set of ideals and principles for myself, and just because that includes tolerance, doesn't mean I would tolerate a jerk being my boyfriend.

Basically, I think because I'm so open and compatible- they're sending me all the rejects that no one else could match with.
